Awesome place! Food was awesome and free refills on coffee. Service was amazing. Really liked the vibe, exactly what Terlingua needed to revamp!

Good food & very instagramable decor, but it was almost an hour wait for breakfast when it wasn’t that busy.

We loved our lunch at Venga. Quinoa Salad and Chicken Fajitas were fantastic! Complimentary mimosas, fresh food & an awesome vibe.

Nice looking restaurant compared to all the other ones In Terlingua. Food was good no complaints. How ever the lady working in the front today that has little Debbie hair was very rude. She was getting frustrated when I asked what beef options you guys have instead of pork. Also she seemed very clueless about their breakfast menu. Really made my family feel uncomfortable. Her energy seemed like as if she was just targeting us. She polite with all the other people but us. Overall very disappointing with her customer service towards certain skin color. Definitely not coming back.

Smoothies, breakfast sandwiches and coffee are worth the stop. Amazing architecture also.

The modern atmosphere is a nice change of pace for Terlingua! The breakfast sandwich and coffee were good. We loved the outdoor seating area. We wish it were open later to grab dinner after visiting the park so we could sit outside and enjoy sunset.

We stopped for a smoothie after hiking a trail at Big Bend. We didn’t expect it to have such a great ambience! The place is one of a kind with a desert feel. Spacious, airy, and trendy. The smoothies and mimosas were also good!

This place has something that most places miss anymore. There is great appreciation given to you for being their customer. We were waiting for a fresh pot of coffee, and we were offered a mimosa while we waited. Way above and beyond. Thank you! When you walk in the door it is not what you expect to see in a Ghost town. I will always stop in and get coffee anytime that I am in the area.

Food was decent, vibe was great but could take awhile to get your meal as staffing seems to be low.

Hot, slow, got order wrong, blender broke so no smoothies, order thru QR code and don’t bring to table, ask for tip, won’t waste time going back.

Great food and great service. Had the daily special of quinoa and hummus wrap and it was fantastic. The lady that runs the counter is knowledgeable and very helpful.

The irony hits the minute you walk in the door, as the mannequin at your right bears a tee with the hashtag 'not like marfa' and the place is exactly like Marfa. Or Los Angeles. Or the new, gentrified Portland. There is nothing about this place that is Terlingua, except that it has been plopped down IN this otherwise authentically rustic, lonesome, and windswept landscape. The food takes quite a while (think 45 minutes to an hour wait on a breakfast burrito), but that's understandable due to the tourist crowd it attracts. The food I tried (said burrito) was nothing special, but the coffee is good and refills free. The wifi is the best in the area though, so if you're a cafe rat like I am it's worth it just for that. For an authentic Terlingua experience, visit the Tin Barn off Hwy 118 across from the American Legion, or shop for second chance items at Otra Vez on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. Drop any donations you might have at the Crisis Center in the Ghost Town, or leave your sorted recycling with the volunteers Saturday mornings off the road to Terlingua's high school. Terlingua is growing while maintaining a steady draw for vacationers; just don't come to Venga in search of anything Terlingua. The mannequin must be wearing that tee to be ironic.

We had the best fajitas ever there - caramelized peppers a day onions and wonderfully seasoned chicken with sm sides of beans, rice, Guacamole, sour cream and salsa. The green salad was fresh and large and had apples and egg. The staff? Owners? Were attentive. We were served quickly. We spent most of our time looking at a.vook about the geology of Big Bend with 6 to 8 maps. I found the decor interesting but lacking warmth (pillows on the sofa, a fake fur rug. Etc). In any case we'll be back
