Great little roadside cafe. Fresh food takes a little while, so come prepared to sit back and relax a little. Best catfish I have ever eaten.

Delicious! Most of the produce is grown by the husband and wife that own it. Farm fresh eggs. Lots of history. They are very friendly. It's an experience, not a quick meal. Plan to sit and visit if they're busy. It's worth the wait.

Great place for brunch. Love the outdoor seating. Open only on Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 2 pm. Google maps has the days open opposite of what they actually are.

I've been wanting to go to this Cafe for a long time but I'm not off on Saturdays. I finally had the opportunity to be off on a Saturday so I took my wife to Zim's Cafe for her birthday. When we arrive we were greeted with down-home hospitality they fixed us a outstanding lunch which was very reasonable on the price. We even received a tour of the old structure which was very interesting and the tour guide went into great detail on the history of the buildings in that area. This is a place of Americana this is a absolute must do on a Saturday or Sunday you won't be sorry.

A fresh Farmers Market on Saturdays. Restaurant serves breakfast and absolutely delicious biscuits. A Baker brings fresh breads for sale. The inside is a real soda fountain bar that takes you back to former days. Wonderful folks, we had a great time there! The owner is a professional ceramic Potter and sells very unique gifts and their little store. I can't say enough good stuff about this place!

Zim's Farmers Market & Cafe is fantastic. The fiod is fresh made, the produce is organic and always fresh. They have foods that are tasty and not like everyone else's. The owners are extremely friendly and amazing people. This is the original site of the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company in Strawn and is being reatored and cleaned up. It is well worth your time and appitite.
