Best donut shop in town. I got 2 dozen donuts for my daughter's bday. The staff was very nice and helpful. Not only did they look amazing, but they tasted delicious!

Been a while since going here as the employees barely speak English and my orders were always wrong. Went in one day and there were little kids playing around in the kitchen.
Stopped in this morning, and was very impressed! Doughnut holes, 2 cherry frosted, and 2 bear claws for a trial. Everything was fantastic! Team working inside was very friendly, and great to meet. Will be back again!
Even though their sign on the door indicated hours of operation till 7pm, they locked the door, shut off lights and left us at the door at 2:03pm, didn’t even motion to us they had to close or acknowledge us at all, very bad customer service experience
EDIT: they seems to have changed back! Changing review to 5 stars! I’ll change this if I'm wrong and just got a bad batch, but I think they changed their chocolate and cream fillings and they are super runny and nothing like they were even a few weeks ago (thick and sugary - not whip cream stuff). Not good. I'm a native Houstonian (where Shipley's started) and am a dedicated Shipley's fan since childhood. I know it's franchised but I was super happy that this location had the old school fillings and weren't trying to skimp like some shops do. Seems like they're changing things and not for the better. The chocolate is so runny it doesn't even stay in the donut (see picture). Very nasty tasting.

This store has poor quality. Seems to be closed every time I try to go. Bulverde donuts is hand over fist better. Wish it was Dunkin donuts.
I am not a huge Shipley fan, but I went because someone else I was with was a fan. I think you either love their glazed donuts or you think they are ok. I am not a fan of their kolaches.

I went into NB to get my DL renewed so i stopped by a shipleys in NB. The donut holes were old and hard as hockey pucks. But didn’t have time to go back before my appointment. I came back home in Bulverde and i figured I’ll show my receipt and they should give me new ones. Well the lady was rude and said sorry not my location can’t help you. I get it’s not your location but your still a franchise by shipleys. It’s a BAG OF DONUT HOLES. it’s less then 2 dollars. They want to be cheap that’s fine. I will no longer come to this location and I’ll continue to go to bulverde donuts. I recommend BULVERDE DONUTS next to the UPS location. Never have had an issues and it’s local not a franchise!
***** DON’T GET SCAMMED ***** Unbelievable 😑 Completely disappointed with the well known breakfast brand. It’s been a few years since I’ve been at a Shipley’s Do-nuts … I was looking forward to it this morning. I try to start my day with a smile and do my best to make Someone else smile… So I ordered my Kaloches and orange juice, said Good Morning and left a tip at the drive thru. Huge smile from the woman working. I drove until I was cruising on Hwy-281 and reached in the bag. Immediately I felt as if I was just literally SCAMMED!!!!!! Totally SCAMMED Reached in the bag, grabbed my warm breakfast kaloche (Huge)… yeah… Huge and HOLLOW with a tiny little coil of ham FLOATING around in the kaloche. Instantly shocked in disbelief. I toss it in the bag and grab the other one. SAME…. tiny floating meat in a hollow kaloche. I actually felt SCAMMED out of a warm tasty breakfast, my money + tip and my mood. So I pulled over and took a photo. Unbelievable and I won’t be returning. ***** DON’T GET SCAMMED *****

Bad experience. Went there just to get donuts and it took way too long. The person getting our food barley spoke English and was talking on the phone. After we got our donuts and sat down to eat the woman who took our order was very loud and talking on her phone. The donuts were also somewhat crispy
