I came for grits but I think the milk was spoiled ? Everything else was great.
Yummies was the perfect place for the last breakfast of vacation. I had to go with the biscuits and gravy with a galaxy latte and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing and the waitress made me feel like I was at home! The vibe of Yummies feels so intimate and inviting - now added to my long standing list of places to revisit on my next trip to Padre!
Had Colima plate and it was delicious. My husband had the steak and eggs Benedict and he couldn't finish the plate. The frappe was also so good. Cris, the server was awesome, you can tell he enjoys his work. There is usually a wait but it is worth it.
Hadn’t been to Yummies in many years and they did not disappoint in service or food! My husband ordered the Farmer’s omelet and he said it was one of the best breakfasts he’s ever had. And that’s a huge compliment! While I ordered and was very happy with the Lighthouse omelet. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Yummies for breakfast or brunch. It’s nice that they also have an outside covered patio where can eat as well, which is what we did.
This bistro was soooo good!!! The waiter was super nice as well! Smoothies were nice as well as the cold coffees.
My wife and I ate breakfast here twice on our stay on the island. Hands down the best breakfast on the island. The staff is friendly and quick to get your order out to you. Their espressos are to die for as well. The food was always fresh and hot and seasoned to perfection. They are a stellar operation and I don't think I would even consider breakfast anywhere else while on the island.
Honestly, over all the food was delicious! Get in early to beat the crowd!
Best coffee on the island!! Burrito is 10/10 and so are the waffles. I want to try every coffee on the menu. Our food was SO good. Great service too. Thanks Isaac! ☺️
The highlight of this location is definitely the customer service. The staff is friendly and on point. The meal is ok for a breakfast spot. They do a couple of extras here and there, but nothing mind-blowing. It's definitely worth a go if in the area. For my second visit, I will check out the lunch side of the menu.
I ordered the summer omelet without zucchini and some tea. The teabag looked like a real leaf! The food tasted great and the portion was big enough for me to need a box. It is a beautiful restaurant and the staff was very pleasant.
Cutest little breakfast spot! Our server Isaac was absolutely fantastic and the bacon stuffed waffles are dynamite!
I was a bit upset goin in Staff told us 20-30 min wait and it turned into 45 min then asked afterwards to see how far we were and then it was 15 more min we waited a little more than an hour and I Totally Understand the Wait just next time please Don’t Say 20-30 min 😬 OTHER THAN THAT the FOOD and STAFF inside was DELICIOUS and AWESOME, WORTH the WAIT, the Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese was da Bomb this Seafood Huevo Rancheros Awesome Chicken and Waffle was so good Will Recommend for others goin to South Padre Island YOU MUST GO AND TRY 😋
Had the chilaquiles with egg it was sooo good. Husband had the California eggs Benedict with salmon. My toddler had the Mickey pancakes with fruit. We enjoyed it. Service was great. Place seems to be one of the more popular spots on the island so be sure to make a reservation if you wish to sit inside. When we went the only tables available were outside.
Good local spot to check out but be prepared for a 20+ minute wait. We got there about 8:30 am and if we wanted a table instead of sitting at the bar it would be a 30 minute wait. We sat at the bar which had plenty of space. I also tried their chorizo and egg breakfast taco, huge by the way, which was good but not my favorite thing on the menu. The mimosas were delicious as well as the biscuits and sausage gravy which I highly recommend. Will definitely be back!
Came here for breakfast, right at opening and I’m glad we did! It filled up quickly and for good reason. The food, service, and weather was so perfect! Came here from seeing it on many blog recommendations and we were so happy we did! I think we will go back tomorrow, too! I got the cinnamon French toast with strawberries and bananas along with a cafe padre coffee- a mustttt try! It was SO GOOD! My husband got the rancheros Santa Cruz and the Spanish macchiato, which he really enjoyed!
Crowded, crowded, CROWDED. Granted, it was saturday morning, so I get it. Attention was prompt and friendly. The food was great and tasteful and delicious and in big portions. The specialty coffees are a marvel. I've been coming to this place for years and years and will be coming back as long as I live around here. Just be aware, parking here is a NIGHTMARE. It's a shared parking lot, but way too small for 6 or 7 businesses.
The service was awesome. The food was so good. We had a breakfast burrito, eggs, hash browns, French toast sausage and bacon. Everyone loved their meals. And again, the servers were super nice.
Gorgeous, delicious, fresh food. Amazing staff as well. They get aces for everything. Just a great place and they were so nice to my talkative 5 year old as well. From their lattes and frapes to their ranchero Santa Fe and banana split parfait, everything was delicious and picture perfect. Delight for the eyes, the mouth, and the nose(yummies). Look forward to coming here for breakfast again next time we're on the island. Only bad side is that the parfaits are half granola. Needs more yogurt and less granola.
Great food, fast and friendly service. Pretty good prices. Their coffee selection was A+
Food was served hot, and garnished perfectly. Drinks were clean and properly made. Thank you for such pleasing experience!
