I’d rate them higher if I could. From the very beginning Medina River as a whole has supported our small business. They roast beans fresh for us multiple times a week. The service is prompt, the product is fresh & they never let us down. I love that they host other small businesses within theirs it’s such a great display of community. The coffee, pastries & personality are all top notch. Do yourself a favor and go see what I’m saying. Salted caramel brownies & blueberry muffin will solve all of your problems! I never get the same coffee because they have ENDLESS options! 💜

I ordered coffee for my mother for Christmas. The order was delivered by a store employee the same day to her in San Antonio. I highly recommend their coffee. When my mother recently came to NY she brought some of the coffee beans to me to try which was the medium roast. The beans are super fresh and after grinding them I brewed delicious coffee that has robust flavors. I made the leftover coffee into iced coffee which was also very tasty. My apartment smelled like the beans after grinding them which was like I was at the coffee roasters.

Consistently great product and friendly staff. Unique concoctions and a cozy bar/sitting area. Only reason for -1 star is the hours. Wish it was the same hours everyday.

The shop is very nice. The crew seemed a little down that day. It was raining a bit on my way to an appointment so i chalked it up to that. Coffee was a little slow for amount of servers there, no one ahead of me, and just a hot 4 shot americano black. Waited about 7 mins, but ate my mini muffins while waiting. This was a big drawback for me. They said everything was "in house" but it seemed just like a Sams mini orange cranberry muffin. Maybe they are normally better, i am willing to give em another shot if in the area, but seeing the "higher than other shops" bill and the service being meh, it would take a lot more to win me over. Coffee was 3.5/5☆s, would give another shot.
While looking for some coffee, this place popped up and I went in with no expectations. The customer service was one of the best experiences I’ve had here in San Antonio. Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. There was a wide variety of options on their menu. Their honey lavender oat milk latte was one of the best I’ve had and the banana bread was delicious. All of their beans are roasted in house. They have an option to order a coffee flight of any of your 4 choices — I wish I’d had more time to do this. I’ll definitely be going out of my way to come back and try all of their other drinks.
To date, this is the best coffee place in town. I don’t even like coffee, but their “Blueberry Pancakes” is sooo good. I always recommend this place.

This cafe has the beverage you need that you didn't know you needed. From a classic cafe latte to mixing your own flavors. The staff will help if you're thinking if flavors will mix well or not. We love this place and highly recommend going.
Beat coffee shop in town. Love the service, love the building, and love the coffee! You can't miss with a cold brew growler.
My go to in San Antonio now for coffee. The Killer Bee and Dirty Chai are our favorites, but they offer flights of tea, lattes, or ice lattes so you can try whatever and find what you like. Staff is very friendly, always engaging and seem like they are having a good time. Wish they were open later on Sunday otherwise I would go more often.
MRC has some of the friendliest baristas AND plays the best music of any coffee shop or cafe i've been to since moving here. for this reason, it's not my favorite place to get work done simply because i'm busy jamming out. it's a smaller shop too, so when it's busy that can also be distracting. with that said, they deserve all the business they can get. the coffee is fantastic, with a great selection of flavors (pistachio!!) and they don't skimp on espresso in their larger sizes like some other places. i haven't tried a coffee flight yet, but it's such a good idea and they even come on cute little boards. i'd love to see them at a bigger location with more seating, but i'll still be supporting them here :)
Very cool atmosphere. Love the staff, the vibes, and the ponytail palm trees. I have one of those at home too, it's one of my favorites. They sell succulents sometimes too which is cool. They allow dogs inside. Staff is fun and friendly
This place is a true gem! We had such an awesome experience checking this place out. The staff here was so incredibly nice, they helped us pick out a coffee and every barista behind the counter chatted with us while they made our coffee. They were all just very genuine and nice and it really made our day. Not to mention the coffee was SPECTACULAR. They have sweet cold foam that they infuse with specific flavors here and I’ve never seen that before, it was astoundingly good though. I recommend trying a coffee with the coconut cold foam. We can’t wait to come back!
