Great coffee drinks and great people! While staying at Fort Sam Houston this little gem was right outside the gate. If you have even a fragment of curiosity, I promise you, it will be well worth the trip!

Came in to get a quick bite- gotta say I was disappointed I didn’t get coffee. They look like so much fun!! The vibe is amazing. It’s like going to a friend’s house. Guests are relaxed enough to talk to each other, the baristas are laughing. If you need a good start to your day, come in here. They’ll get you on the right track. Also- easier parking than other coffee shops I’ve been to around here.
Cute place located near the army base. I got one of their specialty coffees and was very pleased. The service was great, and the atmosphere was on point! I loved looking at all their signs and decorations while I waited for my coffee. They also offer a teacher and military discount!

My wife and I were visiting family in SA and found Folklore on Graysen by accident. The coffee options are extensive and interesting. We opted for lattes. They were terrific. Smooth, well brewed, and balanced. The staff were welcoming and skilled. If you like coffee drinks, look no farther. You've found your home
Perfect! Just passing through and came across this place. Will definitely return!! Nestled in a cozy historic corner, you step back in time. The vibe inside is super cool & non pretentious. The drinks are creative & staff were beyond friendly. Such a rad find!

Fun place, great staff, novel and delicious drinks! Went three times the week I was in the area and will look for opportunities to get up that way again. I ordered once from the Joe app, once in shop and once by phone. All three times, my order was correct, fast and the perfect temp. Once I sat inside to read, once outside and once I just picked it up to go. I found the atmosphere inviting, very friendly and relaxing. Folklores has a unique personality worth checking out.

I got the Siouxsie (pronounced Suzy) and the sheena latte. I wasn’t sure how I’d like the Sheena because of the banana but oh my wonderful I’ll definitely be ordering it again. It tastes like a banana nut muffin in a drink. Not too sweet but delicious flavor. I also got the blueberry bagel which comes with cream cheese, berries, banana, and honey. I loved it! Would definitely come back for that bagel. Small cafe but cozy, and the staff were super nice and helpful. I’m happy I found this spot!
Absolutely love this place. The seasonal drinks are delicious! My go to regular drink is the Cuban B, even the lotus energy drink is pretty good! The vibes are nice, staff is friendly. Sad that I’m moving and won’t be able to enjoy anymore.

Place is amazing. Great to see the culture and vibe in such a positive way. Owner is hella cool and so much original and vintage art. Will be coming back!

Very accepting of all gender types (LGBTQ+). Very welcoming environment, they have a cool sticky note board where people have pre paid for coffees for you if you need one.
