Really good enchiladas and beans and the salsa was really good. Server was friendly but seemed overwhelmed.
I am not one to leave a review unless I have been GREATLY DISAPPOINTED. But I will say Franco’s is not the restaurant it use to be. I have lived here for over 20yrs and it use to always be my to go place!! Always loved the Faz special and a few other dishes even had breakfast there once or twice back in the day, Had a favorite waiter that worked there for years and he apparently left to work for another establishment for the same reason. Service has gone down hill. My wife ordered me a chili rieno plate tonight along with their chicken strip plates. I went to pick the order up as it was take out. When I got home and opened my meal it had 1 rieno(and yes I can’t spell it) no rice or beans. I drove back to the restaurant and questioned them about it and she said that was what we ordered 1 rieno. I don’t know what happened to the customer service at this restaurant but you can tell your boss and I know his name and a few relatives you just lost a long time customer of over 20 years. There’s a slogan out there that says “just give them a pickle” mite want to look it up.
Only reason I gave it less stars is because it's extremely loud in here. I was 3 feet from my husband and could barley hear him. All the sound just bounces off the walls.
It's a small building but the food is delicious

Our favorite in Angelo! Fast service, yummy, new dining room addition! Shredded chicken enchiladas and coleslaw are our favorite! Try them with the HOT Vera Cruz sauce! Great for a fast lunch even if they're busy.
Delicious food, service was amazing. Our tea was always full, checked on us often.
I have been eating here since I was a kid. The last few times I've been, the food was just ok. It has definitely changed since the new owners. Also the staff spends way too much time just standing around talking loudly with one another instead of checking on their customers. This had been one of my favorite restaurants for over 25 years. Sad to see what has happened.
I'm visiting from out of town. I haven't been here in 4 years and this place has gone down hill. The queso was always a favorite and it was not as good. The steak fingers and gravy were bland. Even my favorite enchiladas didn't hit the spot like they usually do. The worst part of my visit was the service. Our server was nowhere around most of the time. I saw him on the phone a few times and he was more worried about his friends or family that were in the restaurant interest if us. They were in another section but he kept going over there. There was even a table in his section that waited so long for him to come greet them and take their drink order that they gave up and walked out. I'm sad this was my experience because Franco's was always a favorite and I recommended it to anyone I knew that was going to visit the area.
Having to wait 5 minutes longer than the rest of the family to get served is just rude. The chicken enchiladas were flavorless, and the busboy was rushing us out of there.
Meat was bad on my meal and the cook didn’t seem to know what was supposed to be on the plate because I got the wrong stuff on my plate. When I mentioned it to the waiter he started to act a little aggressive. I was a regular customer until today. Didn’t end up eating my meal because I didn’t feel like it was safe to eat.
Looked for real TexMex food when traveling from South Dakota with my mother and it’s so freaking good! 10/10 👌🏼
Service was phenomenal. Seating was ok, crowded. Food was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Everything I've tried (tacos, enchiladas, menudo, hot sauce rice and beans) has been excellent, and the portions are bigger than any other place I've been. My new favorite place. Please keep up the good work.
