Cool little place. Coffee is good and Caprese flatbread is delicious.
An unexpected gem in the heart of San Angelo. The vibe here, from the way it's decorated inside and outside to the music playlist to the people working, is top notch and so rare in west Texas. The BBQ grilled cheese sandwich, Cinnamon roll, and salted caramel and churro coffees with cold brew ice cubes were excellent. They even have a bunch of gluten free and vegan options on the menu, which is a life-saver for my wife with celiac. This place made our morning and we will be back every time we are in San Angelo!
Oh my goodness! I absolutely adored this little coffee shop! I love checking out local places when I travel! We are from San Antonio and stopped by on our way back home. The atmosphere was very nice, people were so friendly! I had a lovely experience and the guy who took our order (I forgot to ask for his name!) But he had the best smile and customer service! I accidentally spilled my tea and they were so kind as to make me another! I highly recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee! Thank y'all for making my morning! Much love! 💖💐

A true gem in San Angelo and one of the highlights of our visit. Their cappuccino was amazing! Their food is sourced locally and they run out early in the day (it's THAT good). Our large group ordered drinks and coffee from across the menu and there were no complaints.
A lovely cafe. The Deco is cute. The food was good. The music was a bit too loud to enjoy a conversation.

I often visit Buttercup Cafe and always have such a great experience that I had to leave a positive review! This coffee shop has a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The decor is fun and whimsical, with plenty of unique touches. The customer service at Buttercup Cafe is truly exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They were happy to answer my questions and make recommendations, and went out of their way to ensure that my visit was a great one. Of course, the real star of the show is the coffee. Buttercup Cafe serves up some of the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted. It's smooth, rich, and just the right amount of bold. And let's not forget about the food - the goat toast is so yum! I could easily eat it every day and never get tired of it. Overall, I can't recommend Buttercup Cafe enough. Whether you're looking for a place to catch up with friends, work remotely, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee and a tasty snack, this coffee shop is a must-visit. Don't hesitate - go check it out for yourself!

When I usually come to Buttercup, my experience with the staff is more delightful and accommodating than it was this time around. The girl who took our order didn't seem to know a lot about the menu, especially the lunch boxes. She genuinely seemed confused when I brought up things about them. With every previous experience, we could substitute a side "green" salad for a different one (elote or chicken salad). Instead, I was told that they cannot do that and was charged an additional $8 for the smallest portion that you could possibly imagine with way too many crackers and the smallest spoonful of salad (separate dish). The manager or lead was not very friendly when asked to be given a little more salad instead of the small portion that we got today and insisted that they NEVER did substitutions for their salads. When I showed them picture evidence of a previous time I got the same lunchbox with the substitution, their excuse was "Oh, the menu has changed a lot." & they tried charging us an additional $8 for another order because we came back and asked for a little bit more than what we got. It is absolutely ridiculous and overpriced. This is a picture that I showed them with my substitution (previous time) no additional charge. Not worth it at all & the manager or lead tried to say they never did substitutions.

This is such a relaxing, great environment for enjoying a nice cup of coffee along with their amazing food. Always friendly and helpful. I love going there.
The cafe was nice,clean and friendly. The prices are normal as they can be. The overnight oats were good and coffee as well. They offer ASU discounts and have a points system. I’ll be back! Will recommend!

Today I tried ButterCup, all day cafe for the 1st time. I had a small decaf, sugar-free iced startcup. It was delicious. Creamy and bold and pleasingly satisfying. It felt like I was drinking the real deal without the guilt. Definitely recommend. They even gave us the cutest pup treat!
I had the churro nitro ice coffee that was delicious! They even included a doggie treat when I noticed they had them. Very nice people.
Not sure why this place doesn’t have a better rating but we LOVE this coffee shop. It has a little bit of everything. I love that they serve “real coffee” and not just straight sugar drinks. I’m sure you could get a very sugary drink here if you’d like, but they also have delicious coffee for people who actually like the taste. The customer service here is also spectacular and they treat our dogs like customers too. This is probably one of our favorite places to go in San Angelo!
