Fantastic! We were in town for three days and this became our go-to breakfast place. Great food and friendly service. This is the place the locals go and are greeted by name which is always a good sign. Variety of breakfast items available from omelets, pancakes, muffins, and full plates with eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, toast, etc. Perfect start to our day while staying in Salado!
Amazing food and amazing service! Everyone here is so friendly and fun to talk to. I ordered the veggie sandwich and they even threw in hash browns after breakfast was over. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town :)
This restuant has an old town country fell but is super clean, the staff were super polite, and the food was done so well! I did think some of the menu items were a bit pricey for breakfast (i.e. $5.55 per pancake) but overall a delicious eatery.

Everything was so good! We didn’t have a chance to take pics of our 5 delicious 🤤 plates… we had an omelette an American breakfast , eggs Benedict, and a fluffy blueberry 🫐 pancake … everything was really good…. We will be there again tomorrow for sure !! Day 2… here are some pics
Very good service and the food was great.
The food is great. We had the Deluxe grilled cheese with baked potato salad as the side and the chicken quesadilla. Nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The peach tea is great, was not over powered with peach flavor and not super sweet.

Nice breakfast place - high energy vibe on the weekend. French toast was ok, but the Eggs Benedict was amazing.

McCain’s has a decent selection of tasty baked goods, good enough that you’d better get there early before they sell out!
Cozy cafe & bakery. Breakfast and lunch. Prompt service Latte was better than Starbucks. Go here.
Very rude wait staff! Limited selection and the muffin tasted day old. Very dry. The worst was the unfriendly staff.
Pure excellence friendly staff food is great but if you want crispy bacon make sure you tell them to burn it lol but that's just me being picky other than that this place is amazing
Awesome breakfast. We were visiting Salado and wanted to try this place. It's worth the wait. They were under staffed like everyone is so it took time to get the food. But the food was so good. I would drive from Austin on a weekend just for breakfast.
