We have always wanted to come here and I am happy we did today. The girl who served us was really sweet and we liked how she kept making sure we we good and taken care of. Their double cheeseburger is really good, their crispy chicken taco salad is amazing and their curly fries are to die for. We will definitely be coming back

Asked what they have for dessert. Waiter said they dont have anything only maybe a brownies. No thanks. Only to see her bring out two 2.5inch high chocolate cakes and served them to other table. Then now I asked for cake but waiter claimed those two were last of them. Went to restroom, wow... it's FILTHY.

I had an amazing club sandwich. Also, I ordered 15 cheeseburgers and sides to go. They quickly got the order together. Everything was hot and delicious.

First time there and we will definitely be back. Food was awesome and service was great. If you leave hungry it is your own fault.

Great prices and service. Food was good. Unfortunately the restaurant was not clean. There was food crumbs on the floor, it didn't look like it had been mopped in months. Tables not in use had dust on them, as did the walls. Plumbing is such that there are signs in the bathroom asking you to not put toilet paper in the toilet. I used hot water to wash my hands, and it did not get hot.

My family loves this place. Breakfast was super cheap, our food was great, and the waitress was such a joy to talk to. She made us feel like we were at home. Definitely going back.

I came down to Rising Star to visit family and decided to try this restaurant out. We had a rough experience. I ordered the hamburger steak and it tasted off to me, it just had a twang . Then there was an issue at the register. After posting a review on their Facebook page I was then harassed by a waitress there and the waitress family/friends for stating my opinion of the food. I would love to give the restaurant another chance just would hope not to have to deal that particular waitress again. Sad thing is I didn't even have her as a waitress so the fact she had an issue with me as a customer is insane.

Went there for lunch today. My daughter got the catfish and I got the Hamburger Steak. Waitress brought out the salad (tomatoes, lettuce & cheese) bit into a tomato and almost got sick. They remade it and brought it back to the table. Looked like fresh tomatoes but bit into it and it was ruined. So the waitress takes the plates away. Next they bring the food. The catfish stunk like it had been setting out all day, the coleslaw was spoiled, the hush puppies were nasty. The potato salad was the only decent thing with that meal. The hamburger steak was a frozen patty rolled in flour & fried. The meat was sour. Only good thing on that was the burnt onions. The fries were burnt. The toast was ok. The chocolate cake was dry. Will not be back! After I pay, I was informed I was charged a convenience fee. (No sign anywhere) Then I was overcharged. Was told the people in the kitchen couldn’t see well, that’s why the tomatoes were ruined. I WILL NOT BE BACK AND WOULD RECOMMENDED NO ONE ELSE EAT HERE.
