Great coffee and breakfast food. Exactly what Rio needed! Carried out breakfast on multiple occasions and it's always fresh and packaged great. Would like to see a few more to-go options in the mornings. 5/26/23-Wasnt impressed when I watched them top off my coffee (1/3 - 1/2) with hot water when they ran short. At that point, it's the same as the gas station down the road.
This place is truly a hidden gem in Rio Vista. Everything we have had is great, and the service is fantastic

Nice little home town place good food and great coffee
Only been here for breakfast. Food was great as far as breakfast goes, however it's a good value. The country fried steak is really good, and the seasoned potatoes are delicious! Had to ask for butter and then syrup for the pancakes, otherwise service was fast and polite. Clean interior. Parking can be a real PITA if you come during peak hours. Using your GPS, take it slow on approach because it's not really obvious at a glance that it's a cafe as the building is fairly small.

Stopped through town for work and decided to try out Heather's. It was a wonderful surprise! My coworker had the country breakfast and I had the Machaca. Both were fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our waitress made us fresh coffee since we chose not to have any of the fancier options - although I have no doubt they would have been amazing. The waitresses were all very welcoming and sweet, the restaurant and restrooms were very clean, and the menu options were a pleasant surprise - it was hard to choose. We will definitely stop back in next time we're in town!
Average breakfast food. Definitely busy, but we landed there as the breakfast rush was ending and before the lunch got bad. The place is extremely small. Perfect size for a coffee shop but too small for a diner type atmosphere.
My family and I love this place and try to go on most Saturdays. They do an excellent breakfast and we love the frozen cofee drinks. It is always busy there but it is worth the time and the staff is friendly and experienced. Today's experience was not smooth like it usually is so I would say for constructive feedback that it would be a good idea to get signage for it being wait to be seated on Saturdays when it's busy to not have any confusion. But the manager handled the situation when made aware of it and we appreciated her professionalism.
