Blockhouse is home away from home for me. From the warm welcome greeting as I walk through the door, to chatting with the baristas, to chowing down on the delicious food offerings, to savoring the amazing lattes, it doesn't get any better than this for a coffee shop!
Really a cute little spot. My daughter and granddaughter stopped in on Mother's Day to grab a sandwich and a cup of coffee. $$ are a bit high. But nice atmosphere.
Clean and bright space with a small section for kids to play, delicious coffee (my fave is lavendar latte), friendly staff, and food comes out quick.
I LOVE this place…this has become a new post church ritual and pretty much anytime I’m in the area! Cozy environment, great breakfast sandwiches and delicious coffee! The service is always so warm and friendly too!! Definitely recommend
This place is awesome! The atmosphere is great and very kid-friendly. They even have a whole corner inside dedicated to kids with a chalkboard wall and a playground outside. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. Definitely coming here with a friend to enjoy the ambiance.
A true community coffee shop!! I was impressed by Blockhouse from top to bottom. The staff was SUPER friendly and knowledgeable, the sitting areas were very varied depending on what you want to do, and the coffee was fantastic. Blockhouse is built to provide an awesome environment for kids all the way to professionals and I plan on coming back for all kinds of reasons. I'm so happy it's in Richmond!

Our go to coffee shop for Richmond-Rosenberg. We like to support local business and love everything BlockHouse does to support the community and build relationships. The coffee is fantastic and the pastries are great too. Our kids love the backyard.
I stumbled across this beautiful establishment this past Saturday afternoon. The barista was absolutely the kindest and offered the best flat white! I definitely recommend you stopping by for the best coffee in town ❤️
This is my favorite place in Richmond. Blockhouse has such a vibe and community feeling. I always get the Vietnamese ice coffee :) Appreciate that the owner has made this place so much more than just a coffee shop, it’s a community center with events and space for families
We were visiting from the Houston area and happy to find a great spot for coffee (really good!) with a playground for little ones. I would definitely come back.

Always amazing and very sweet staff! Sometimes just coffee other times breakfast but it’s always good!
Always on the lookout for non- chain local coffee shops, got a chance to visit this. Small town vibes when you reach here. Tastefully decorated and the lady on the counter was friendly and welcoming. Ordered a cortado and cappuccino along with an avocado toast. Everything was delicious. Coffee is of great quality . The toast was awesome- the tomato could be a bit less cold :). Will visit it again as soon as we can
Amazing atmosphere, coffee was good, the male barista was very friendly and greeted me when I walked in. The female barista with the glasses wasn’t very friendly.
The Blockhouse is my happy place. I go there when I want a delicious cup of coffee and the best breakfast tacos 🌮 in town.
I don't have enough space here to give the proper love to the workers and owners so I'll try and be brief; I love this space because the workers are always so friendly and the owners when present are engaging and caring as well. Service is always the best and I love meeting others from the local community and some from outside that enjoy our little nugget in Richmond. I always look forward to going back and I've never been disappointed. I hope you all come to love it and appreciate it the same way.
I have been a long time Coffee fanatic but Richmond, TX didn’t have anything to offer other than Starbucks’s. Once I heard the Blockhouse was coming I began communicating with the owners months before they opened. Once the “Open Sign” said “Open” I’ve been going five or six times a week ever since. Excellent staff and wonderful atmosphere. Richmond is a better place to live because of Blockhouse and for that I’m thankful.
We have been coming to Blockhouse for years! Their coffee is amazing, food is so yummy and the atmosphere is so fun! My husband and I love getting out of the house to work from here, our teenager meets up with friends to study and our toddler loves the backyard. There’s something for all ages!
One of my favorite places in Richmond to grab coffee! I wish the space is bigger but that doesn’t take away from the overall feel
