State supported rest area. Clean restrooms. Place to walk the dog. Nice folks taking care of the place.
Clean restrooms, two tornado shelters. Drinking water fountains are inside the main building. Lizards in the shrubbery, so rattlesnakes are not present, maybe.
Very clean and a nice place to rest. Just a heads up to parents looking to give their kiddos a break on the playground - it's closed. The gate is locked and it says it's closed "for your protection". Not sure what that means but we were disappointed - we made a special trip to this specific rest area for the playground..
We stayed overnight here while moving cross country in 2019, while it is quite an active truck stop, it was a beautiful spot to rest for the evening. We were somewhat disappointed as we were enjoying the stargazing as we watched the stars come out, just as the overhead lights came on. We felt safe the whole time.

As a commercial driver, this rest area is well lit and wide open. Also gets a great wifi signal.

a nice little Oasis on a small highway! I was desperately looking for a place to park my truck and I'm glad I came across this. Nice and big, plenty of spaces. Clean restrooms and a very well-kept yard in Grass area. I have marked it on my map as a place to return to if I come down that way

Great stop, we pulled over to rest with our camper after many hours of driving, clean, well maintained, nice indoor facilities, even has a WINDERFUL,huge playground for kids. However, it is very active, all night long.... but we would stop there again.
What's not to like!! All states could learn something from this rest area.
