A huge choices of pastry, dessert and latte as well as ice cream and birthday cake. Have place to sit and atmosphere is pretty nice and warm. Staffs are really well service. Highly recommended for anybody who wants a real chill thing to meet friend and study 👍🏼
The atmosphere is relaxing 😌in such a way as to belay the effects of caffeine. The merchandise is varied perfectly. The Gelato is delicious. I always enjoy a visit.
Ordered chicken salad sandwich on croissant and planning on having it for lunch!! It came out hot at 8am?? Who eats chicken salad sandwich at 8am?? They did make a cold sandwich that took 15 minutes. The hot one took 5 minutes. ?? Something’s Off!!
Cream cheese frosting is butter and sugar and cream cheese so yes it is pretty much buttercream with cream cheese. No need to be snarky behind the counter and criticizing my inquiries with your coworkers. Keep your opinions about customers preferences to yourself. I DO NOT EAT ANYTHING with BUTTERCREAM or related to it! Doesn't give you the right to talk about me and my choices. Worst customer service! Disappointing establishment. Can't even inquire on what they offer.
My first time going was recommended by friends and family. Such a great experience, A girl name Yajira Welcome me in and help me decide on what to get was very helpful. I went in for a coffee come out with breakfast and a dessert. From the looks of it she really motivated and loves making coffee and really good at it very sweet girl and always laughing and make you feel welcome every time you enter the bakery.
Me and my son love coming here!! The staff is always so sweet! The pastries are very delicious & atmosphere is cute!
please pay attention to what people order and stop giving them the wrong freaking items, and then sometimes give attitude when politely asked if it could be fixed. smh. get it together pls 😭
They are always friendly when I go. A few weeks ago my son helped an older lady (80s) by keeping the door open for her as she exited the building, then opened her car for her while she got in. When we walked into the building all the employees were standing there smiling, telling me they watched the whole thing and he tugged on all their heart strings and gave him a free cookie of his choice. This is my go to place for frappes, and strawberry cheesecakes. I'm not a huge fan of cheesecakes but they are the best!!!
I recently re-discovered Rao's! Such a gem! Plus Monday I had an incorrect order - and the management worked with me to fix it... it's great when a shop stands by their quality of service. If you've never been to Rao's your gonna want to check out their exquisite selection of cakes and other desserts - they even do custom birthday cakes! Their breakfast croissant, is amazing and has a real cheddar cheese!! The coffee beverages cannot be beat!! Seriously! If you like caramel, try the Carmella late - and I'm sorry if you get addicted!! The interior of the bakery is beautiful, and a nice place to meet for a meal with family or friends. They also have Gelato!! 😋

Had lunch before we visited and the desert was top notch.
The service was good. The cookies are great. They don't label or put prices on anything so you have to ask what everything is and its price
I love this establishment!! As soon as u step foot in the door the employees welcome u! They’re so patient,even when there’s a rush!! Everything is always so fresh and so good . My sister come from lake Charles just to go to Raos!!!
The cake is dry and tastes pre-frozen. The cookies were dry and stale. It took over 20 minutes to get a hot tea, just hot water and a tea bag in a to go cup. The workers look miserable and exhausted. Don't waste your money here.
5 stars for the atmosphere, I love to bring a book and order a latte and snack. 4 stars for the latte, if I remove the foam, I have 3/4 cup of latte and it's not hot enough. 4 stars for the breakfast wrap I had, it was not at all tasty. I will keep returning, I like it better than Starbucks. Dec of 2021 update: I ordered a German chocolate cake for a cousin's birthday! It was so good, he had to cut himself an additional piece for later because it was disappearing in minutes....and there were other cakes at his party. Rao's German chocolate cake is so rich and moist! I highly recommend it!
Every single time I go in this place I’m met with attitude. Almost the entire staff is rude. It’s no wonder they can’t hold down any employees. Because if what I’ve seen is how the people in charge treat their customers, I can only imagine they’re even worse to the employees. Aside from the absolutely terrible customer service, the food hasn’t been good in months. I work near them and end up going there often because of convenience and every time I have to deal with my food being prepared wrong or being flat out not cooked. There was a day I had to go back and speak to them FOUR different times and they still couldn’t handle making a ham, egg, and cheese croissant. it’s three main ingredients, given to me with raw egg, icey ham, and no cheese. After returning so many times and them literally just rolling their eyes at me and being of no help whatsoever, i gave up. My next step is calling whoever’s in charge of the people running this place, because what they have here is a joke.
This place is going downhill. Fast. Maybe it wouldn't go downhill so fast if they treated their employees better. They pay them just enough to get by and expect them to go above and beyond for the company. Yeah right. Nobody is going to work that hard for such little benefit. Heads up, Starbucks pays way more and offers much better benefits, better breaks and it doesn't take FOREVER to close the store.
Their pasties are not fresh and the ones that are fresh tasted like cardboard. Very disappointed
Went today and got a cold coffee that was absolutely phenomenal. Miss Danae made my drink and I must say it was DELICIOUS!!! I'm visiting here and heard about this place. I'll be looking forward to tasting another drink. Hopefully made by Danae.
Good desserts and coffees. Oh yeah gelato is super good there too.
