I liked my cold americano. The staff is very friendly.
I waited for about 20 minutes for two White Chocolate Caramel Breves. They tasted like gas station lattes. Just steamed milk with no flavor. I requested a extra shot but the man insured me “our coffee is already pretty strong… I wouldn’t get the extra shot”. So I didn’t. It needed around 3 extra shots and some more sauce and syrup for flavor. I hate giving bad reviews so I’ll probably try it two more times to give them a chance!

I stopped by and got an iced coffee on my way to Centennial Park. Will be my new summer jam since it’s so close to the park. Very good coffee! Smooth, strong flavor. By far my favorite coffee shop!!

River Coffee Co. is a bright spot in downtown Midland. Located behind the main drag it provides a lovely patio view of traffic and mingles with the enticing aromas from Susie’s South 40 just across the street. The warm and cozy atmosphere draws you in and friendly smiles greet you. Local crafted pastries from several local artisans like Flour Child Bakery are always a surprise and pair nicely with beverage offerings. My go to is the Honey Cardamom Flat White. The beverages truly are delightful and easy to order. The distinctive options never compete for your attention but meld together to entice your palette and warm your soul. The quiet music soothes the hustle and bustle of my beloved Midland and creates a sense of calm. Unlike every other coffee shop I’ve been to it offers respite and a unique experience.
This place is a YES!! I am kind of obsessed with coffee and trying new places. This by far is my favorite in Midland. We ordered vanilla lattes and they came out beautiful, delicious, and hot - I like my coffee HOT! Will definitely be coming back to get more!!!!
