I had the honey lavender and strawberry kiwi, they were so good the young lady at the counter was so sweet and patient with my husband and I since it was our first time, aesthetically pleasing inside too! I like that it was not overly large portions and you can get 2 flavors in a small cup unlike other places where you'd only be able to get one. Can't wait to go back!

Please hire a Barista and someone that can handle the menu. Only come for the gelato, nothing else. Still, not the best tasting, but the only one in Midland Texas.

Been coming here since 2021, and it’s been a great experience! I love their gelato, and lately I been getting apple pie crepe a lot and their coffee. It’s super pretty inside (which is important to me). Overall, definitely one love.

This was our first and sadly last visit. Loud and rambunctious children running all over jumping on the tables coughing whist there mum's are going on shouting at each other to compensate for their children being as loud as they are. None of which is the fault of the shop at all by any means I'm not saying that. No let's go to the customer service part, gentleman rolled his eyes when I told him it would be a while because it was my daughter's first stop in, when she did decide what she wanted we paid and had to use the restroom. At the moment there was no place to put our gelato down because of the children running around all over the place and the only free table was dirty. We put our gelato on the dirty table which had dirty dessert plates as the personnel of the shop stood around and paid no mind to the situation. We exit the restroom to find the table still was not clean I turned to ask one of the personnel to see if they could wipe the table down for us. No sooner did I turn around to grab my ice cream The personnel that I asked had sprayed the cleaner of the table all over our gelato cups with disregard. As I picked up our gelato and repeated to my child that we would go elsewhere and this now had to be dumped because it was sprayed with cleaner and the personnel looked puzzled at me as we walked to the trash can to discard our cups of gelato after she sprayed them with cleaner for the table and then we left out of the shop. No apology was given from personel for the situation. One star and sadly I can't speak to what their gelato taste like because of this instance.

DELICIOUS!! I LOVE the KEY LIME PIE, the PISTACHIO, and the DARK CHOCOLATE. I’m from NYC and this is better than MANY of the gelato places I’ve gone to there in my neighborhoods. Better than Veniero’s gelato and Amorino gelato ! I even gone to Anzio and visited Rome, and Amara is still the best I’ve tasted. They must know something about what they do in Italy. Amara is fresh and delicious with great ingredients. Each bite is addicting! Very grateful that I’m able to get such delicious gelato.

The worst Gelato I have ever had and the service is terible. The owner is very rude. I would not recommend. They won't refund you if you don't like the way your Gelato taste.

This place is neat! I'm not big on lactose inclusive stuff. You have to treat your kiddos once in a while though, right! I can take a bit of gellato once in a while, and my kids feel special and darn I say fancy about coming here. Ad a an adult, its a great cup or bowl of dessert with not the greatest diversity of gellatos but a nice indltroductory experience of leveled up I've cream.

We waited for more than 15 minutes for two affogatos. We got a small bowl of ice cream with cold coffee full of coffee grounds. More importantly, no apology for the wait and what we got for $15.

Don’t get fooled by their high ratings. Very arrogant personnel. They don’t care about customers at all.

This is best ice cream ever! The flavors the textures, everything has been thought through. The decor is so adorable I have to fight the urge to take a million selfies every time I go in.

*Update as of Sep '22-- Under new ownership and it's gotten even better! Everything good about Amara is still present but with more attention to keeping the tables clean, subtle but notable improvements to certain gelatos, like richer cappuccino and dark chocolate and more balanced honey lavender. They've also added a boutique espresso bean option that is more rich, complex, and less acidic than Illy, doubling down on being the best in the Permian IMO. And they're open 7 days a week now.* Great Gelato & *Espresso* Amara's a great addition to Midland. Friendly and attentive staff. Dense, smooth gelato with delicious flavors. The tastes and textures suggest to me a pretty "natural" product with simple, quality ingredients. I love that they do crepes, too. A major draw for me is that they do the best and most consistent espresso pulls I've found in Midland by a good stretch. They use Illy beans. It's worth going just for espresso, but good luck sticking to that. Definitely a place that needs to stay around.

Loved everything about this place! Flavors are unique and delicious. Tried a latte and it was like having coffee in Italy. Great quality treats and great service too.
