Dined here before graduation. The food was excellent. Service was great. Place was nice and clean. Have not had better Mexican food. Highly recommend!

Good spot for home style food, self serve order at the counter. There is a drive thru pickup window. I went in to read menu, ordered, asked if I could get it at the window because my dog was in the truck. She said oh just park by the front door I'll bring it to you. Very friendly and helpful. Monday is fried chicken night, but I had chicken fried steak dinner, very good, the salad was surprisingly good with various greens and vegetables. Loaded Mashers were good too.

We seem to have come at the end of the lunch rush on Fried Chicken Monday, The food may take a tad longer but when I could typically go, they are slow. The food was fresh and great like usual, I'm a repeat customer.
10/10! My father & I were passing by on our way to Abilene Texas and it was amazing. My father got the catfish basket & I got the chicken fried chicken. Staff was very informative and welcoming. Everything was DELICIOUS including the tea. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had
Best breakfast in Menard on Friday and Saturday mornings.
We rolled in at 1:55pm (5 min to close) on a Sunday. They were polite, expedient, and served up a great lunch. I enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich, which I added onions and avocado to with a side of sweet potato fries. Yum! My kids got chicken strips and a burger which they also thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for the great meal. I’ll definitely stop again next time passing thru. ❤️❤️
Antique Texan styled cafe for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Ambiance great. Food quality great & inexpensive. Waiting time 10/15 minutes (max). Service quality great. Great vibe overall.
The food is amazing but if you try and call in an order when they're really busy they'll put you on hold and forget about you, so try and go in to place the order

Stopped on our way from Austin to Big Bend. Great lunch spot. Chicken fried chicken, grilled cheese chicken fingers and cheese fries was excellent. Tomato soup was warm and tasted great. Staff was very friendly.

My husband & I agree that it's the place to beat best burgers in America!!! you must try the Pecan pie too local grown pecans .. it's a dream !!!!

HOLY-LADLES BATMAN!!!! Worth a trip just to eat at this perfect cafe. Once you eat the beans you will be hooked forever. Catfish fried perfectly!! So much to talk about but it’s easier if you just try it for yourself. Absolutely incredible!
