Para Llevar is a very nice little restaurant and pizza shop. We got some drinks and pizza. The cafe de la olla was ok nothing to special but it is a pizza place/restaurant. The pizza on the other hand was very good and tasty. We went with the original cheese pizza. The only thing to take into consideration is that it was very well done a bit burnt. Very nice outside seating and inside vibe.
We ordered two meatball subs and waited 30 minutes and the middle meatball was cold.
Great little place, pizza was wood fired and delicious. Very smoky and the bacon was so thick, yummy crust too!
The chicken salad sandwich was fantastic!
The grilled cheese was 5 stars, the pepperoni pizza was 4 stars and the wings were chewy so 3 stars
Good pizza in a really pretty venue
Para Llevar Bodega + Deli was thankfully open, as much of Marfa closes in the afternoon. I’d go here again even if other places were open. Let me start by saying get a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. I want more!! The huge outdoor patio further adds to the ambience of the place. When you’re here, you’re family (much more than Olive Garden). The bacon bacon pizza, yum! I love the thick pieces of bacon and crust was delicious. And then there’s the drinks. I enjoyed the Sotol margarita, my first. Thanks Para Llevar!
Super good pizza!! Bread and hummus was delicious too!! Yummy!!!!
Went there during spring break. Owner told us that she was 4 people short and would be a 45 min wait. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather. It was worth the wait. Pizza was really good
We’re traveling and stopped to get a quick lunch. The woman who took our order didn’t pass it on to the chef and did nothing to make it up to us when her employee realized the mistake. We waited over 45 minutes for one pizza and we received no compensation or reimbursement. When we requested a refill of a Shirley temple for my younger sister in exchange for the poor service we were turned down from even that. Will not be visiting here again anytime soon. When we finally got the pizza it was not worth the wait.
So wanted to try the pizza, we ordered and waited for over an hour just to be told we had nine more ahead of us. So disappointed.
Good tasty pizza, way over priced, though, especially for lunch.
Vegan pizza option was great, the crust was a little toasty as it takes a while to get the vegan cheese to melt but still good.

Cookies cookies cookies! I hadn’t seen anything in the reviews that talk about their cookies, so I wanted to rectify that. They’re perfectly sweet, without being too sweet. Really nice and crunchy in a caramelized way, yet still soft and moist on the inside. Get the cookies!

Had the meatball sub. It was substantial in proportion. Should have saved half for the next day but shoved it all down. The pickled onion made me do it! Hibiscus lemonade was yummy as well.
What you see in this picture is a paper plate….with a bite mark on it. Why, you may ask? Good question, because I was so hungry from waiting almost two hours for our pizza. We ordered our 2 pizzas (both pepperoni) at 12:10 and got them at almost 2 pm. When we ordered it, they said it would be right out. We sat there, watched people come and go, eating pizza, filling their bellies, leaving. When we asked the guy up front about eta, he was super nice, and said they were coming right out. Another 30 minutes passed, and we asked again, he said they were coming in another five minutes. We waited…and waited…and then we politely asked again after 30 more minutes passed, he said they were coming, by now, I was losing faith. I’m sure they didn’t mean to forget about us, they probably lost our order, or the ticket fell, but they also never apologized or were proactive about the situation. I have worked in the restaurant business doing various jobs, one of them being pizza making, fyi…It doesn’t take 2 hours. The pizzas were ok, I won’t be returning.
Food, wine, staff and atmosphere was amazing! The Ginger Garlic wings are a must try!!
