First time there. Waited 10 minutes to order drinks then another 10 to get them. Finished coffee before waitress headed our way to take order. We didn't order we left. All the while second waitress was just standing around. Guess we didn't sit at her table. Place was almost empty.

This is a family-owned great restaurant... the food is absolutely fantastic if you want good home cooked food. The atmosphere is friendly and exactly what you want if you're looking for a small town kind of feel

The Mabank Cafe is the perfect family-owned, local diner. Delicious food that is well priced with a staff that is responsive and kind. Owners Victor and Loretta work HARD and do a great job giving Mabank a place to call home.

I've never had an issue with this place, but today we ate there for breakfast. There was 6 of us and 5 got the breakfast buffet and I got a different item. I had to remind our waitress that I still have not received my food. Everyone I was with was just about done with their food by time I got mine. And they didn't even give me fresh food or all of it. I refused to eat it so I walked out. Worst service here EVER! I will not be back.

Probably the best place for breakfast in Maybank/Gunbarrel. Friendly staff. Good food. Buffet wasn't open when we went. Did was delicious. Lost a star for not asking how my wife likes her bacon, or warm syrup. Still a great place to eat though.
