Sweet shop. Very personable, fresh made bread, homemade chicken salad and homemade ice cream. Yum!!
Just ordered my very first sandwich from Mom's. I got a chicken salad on wheat with cheddar. Wow, I'm blown away. This is easiest the very best sandwich I've ever eaten in all my 59 years! The bread is homemade and delicious with a wonderful chewy crust. The chicken salad was great. My vegetables were super fresh, like someone had selected the prettiest tomato slices just for me. Thank you, Mom's, and I'll be having more sandwiches soon
Perfect lunch stop on a Saturday! Sandwiches on (what had to be) homemade bread. Wall of country themed decor for sale. Oh and an ice cream bar! Very friendly staff.
The most kind and friendly people i have ever met! Not to mention delicious bakery items and ice cream!! Would recommend this place to anyone!

I recently visited this charming cafe and was impressed by its cozy interior, complete with charming and intricate details. Best coffee, sweet tea, and chicken salad!
This is a really nice place, and even the guests are so welcoming when walking in. If you like strong coffee, this is not the right place to get one.
Was closed when we arrived, while in map it was sys it is open.
My husband and I were looking for a little place for a sandwich while traveling. Found this little gem wow googling and so glad that I did ! The menu is not large it contains sandwiches, soup, baked goods and ice cream The sandwiches are all on fresh homemade bread right out of their ovens. we had chicken salad with chips and then a little chocolate chip cookie and a blueberry muffin for dessert. I would suggest a little chalkboard with the menu on it that would be the only thing that I would change ❤️
If I lived in Luling, this would be my favorite haunt. Sweet and simple, and the best turkey sandwich - no fancy-dancy gimmicks, just a nice, wholesome feel...smallish, cozy, books on the shelves, homemade crafts...the young kids serving are polite and are an example of what so many other young kids in the bigger cities seem to lack: family values, good work ethic, and manners. Enjoying my coffee outside on the front walk, on a park bench, feeling like I just came out of a blessed corner of America.
Three of us ladies stopped in town to go to quilt shop on Monday (which was closed). We went down to coffee shop and had a snack with our coffee/tea. The atmosphere reminds me of my youth visiting my grandparents in the drug store(great memories). Gretchen was a wonderful host (not sure if she is the owner or not) and made us feel very welcomed with a nice talk about Germany and hummels. Thank you Gretchen.

I Google food in this town I was passing through and stopped at this little place, the owner was super friendly and welcoming. The watermelon ice cream was AMAZING! the food was great too

A quaint little shop that is doing it properly. Simple easy and delicious. Little Nick ax span the walls, at reasonable prices, sure to deliver an impact as a gift or just a home decor. The sandwich was delicious and not shy on the amount or good quality of ingredients. Coffee was a drip coffee and tasted just like you would expect. I did not try the ice cream although I wanted to. I definitely recommend Trying out if driving through for a quick sandwich or snack with a family or friend or even a business associate.
