Best Donuts in Longview
Haven't eaten Shipley's in a long time. Went and got cinnamon roll, donut holes, kolache, and regular glazed donuts all dry tasted horrible. Will not be back! What has happened to you?
donuts were awesome, got in and out in very fast time. Was very pleased w service and quality
Best place in town
Do not recommend I placed a order online was suppose to pick it up at 10:22 I got there at 10:30 the lady at the window informed me my order wasn’t ready so I sat in the parking lot for a little then went back through the drive thru just for her to say oh your ticket just printed off I will tell the other lady to make it a few seconds later the woman came back and said oh we don’t have any of your donuts I then asked for a refund then she responded back no so not only did I not get my donuts I also didn’t get my money back
First time at this location. Only saw two employees. A gentleman in the back and a lady working the drive thru and the counter. Very busy place and did not see her miss an order.
Love the people that work here!!! And it is the best overall, I've ever had.
Tasty donuts every time I visit.
Just can't get past it. The BEST kolache in town - 100%. However, management can't seem to negotiate a visa machine deal so you can buy just one kolache if that's all you need. Shipley's requires a $4 minimum on any Visa purchase. That's right...any regular Joe with an IPAD can process a free transaction anywhere. People all over Canton and many brick and mortar businesses in Longview do it but Shipley's, with considerably more volume, just can't manage to get it done. To be fair, there are several do-nut shops around town with $3 and $4 minimums and I have the same view towards their weak managers/owners. For the other guys, it's an instant vote of no confidence and I don't go back. If it were not for the kolaches, I would never go back to Shipley's (i will never go back w/o cash so they will lose some of my business). They probably do not get a massive amount of pushback but really, few people go get cash from an ATM to pickup their do-nut or kalache in the AM and NOBODY wants to buy extra food they don't want or need. Though I do eat there occassionally, I never recommend Shipley's. BTW, Shipley's has at least one location inside a convenience store and since a customer pays at the convenience store register, a minimum is not applicable.
Didn't have a variety of donuts. Expensive
Kolaches and donuts are always good but the service is extremely slow. Only one person working the front with both inside and drive through open; need to close one and focus on the other if they're understaffed.
The best Kolaches in town! Always hot and fresh donuts. Must try!
Really Good Donuts 👍👍👍 is good
I purchased the glazed donuts. I love Shipleys. However, this location the donuts were not the Shipley’s taste. I’ve purchased plenty of glazed donuts from the Houston area Delicious. This location does not come close.
They never have workers and the lady that has been there for years is always so rude.
My favorite Shipleys location. The staff here work so hard and it shows. Doughnuts and kolaches are the best in town.
My sister and I ate here yesterday the kolaches were really good
Be aware and alert on what you order versus what they charge you. I order 1/2 donut holes that’s $.99 and they charged me for a Bear claw that’s $1.79. When I asked for a receipt the user S.L. was hesitant. Other than that, donut holes were amazing!
Best donut recipe I've had in the east Texas area. Their donut dough is light and melt in your mouth. If you're in Longview, this is the place to go for donuts.
The donuts are very decent but I won't be back because they don't do any breakfast sandwiches.
