Stop by for breakfast once and since then i been there 6 times and twice for dinner Drove from downtown houston just to have dinner Came home happy every time
This place was Closed for the second time that we made the long drive over to it even though it said online it was open. We will not be making that drive again.
Excellent chicken fried steak. it was recommended by our waitress and didn't disappoint. Our large party of 13 was seated and served quickly. o
Absolutely do not go here 10 :28 would not serve us breakfast as two tables around us get breakfest they told us they had no biscuits and gravy when confronted bout them being to lazy to cook some eggs they reply yea that's to much work but we do have gravy and biscuits that magically appear outta no wear and we're out of minutes before but their to lazy to cook some eggs rude millennial aged staff this not a place to go to for breakfast their cooks obviously can't keep up or basically run the place another reason we will not be recommending our friends or family to this establishment this place is in need of better management
Very close to a 5, but they used the wrong cheese on my sandwich and the only fruit pie was Apple. I will be happy to go again so I can give them a 5. I had Pecan pie instead.
Drove 40 min for breakfast and was told they have none, they've already put it away and switched over, as other tables around us were being served breakfast. Who stops serving bacon and eggs at 10:30 in the morning?
We cruised there with a large group of classic cars today. Service was great, food was great and pies were even better!
The food was great just a little disappointed that when we got there expecting breakfast we were told they were serving lunch because they ran out of most of the breakfast ingredients after driving 30 minutes just to try the breakfast after it was recommended by a friend.
This place is the BOMB!!! Love their food and the people that work there. If you go, YOU MUST ORDER A PIE!! None better!

Good wholesome food. Parking is atrocious as its a free for all with no real marked spots and huge ruts. It's a local diner so everyone knows everys everyone.... yet fast friendly service. The home made dessert selection is awesome. Will return and would recommend.

Lunch special was good. Disappointed that you don't get a choice of pie that comes with specials. It was a pie I don't like. Purchased a slice of cherry pie to take home for husband. His favorite pie but said this didn't taste like cherry! Staff was nice. They charge fee if you use credit card...
Very good food and friendly service. Cute country decor. I was so full that I didn't get to eat any pie, but I'll be back for that.
Service was fast and the food was cooked fresh and was amazing. Can't forget to get a slice of pie!!
This place had the BEST breakfast 😋 I've had. I've eaten at a lot of breakfast joints. If you're in the Moss Bluff, Texas, you have to stop by. The pies 🥧 they bake are absolutely 💯 perfect.

The original cracker barrel. Lol. In my opinion, cracker barrel saw this restaurant, copied it, and made their franchise. Great Food, Great people, just all around a good experience.
