Excellent Rueben made with smoked pastrami!
This is a small 5 table hole in the wall at a gas station. The chicken fried steak dinner is phenomenally good. Nice owner too.
Was in the Jarrell, Texas area for work today, and I asked my customers where I could find a good burger close by. The unanimous answer was “the cafe at the Texas Truck Wash” in a gas station. Looked like a hole in the wall cafe, but glad we tried it!! Bacon Cheeseburger 9/10 - thick and juicy patty with fresh veggies. The bacon was meh, but the burger overall was incredible! Curly Fries 7/10 - slightly crunchy and great flavor. Sweet Tea 5/10 - it’s was decent. Atmosphere 6/10 - no frills, hole in the wall cafe. Service 6.5/10 - it was ok. The staff overall were nice. Definitely recommend this cafe!!
Had a double cheeseburger...and had hard tume biting it..was huge.. well worth the stop.. been back since this too... and again.. great food..
First 2 times was good. Third time we called for breakfast since in google says they’re open at 7 am. We call at 10:30 they said we open at 11 and hang up. We call again at 11:10 we ask about breakfast and they said hey don’t serve breakfast anymore when In your menu you still have it available. Would be nice if you respect or actualice your schedule in google so we don’t have to be guessing what time you’re gonna be open and what do you still sell. We’ve been with g for over 30 minutes to order to find out we can’t get what we want. Definitely loved the food before but customer service is not the best.
Small place with good breakfast. Wife and I split the avacado & bacon 3 egg omelet and glad we did. It was plenty of food for 2 people. Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area.
Nice, small Cafe with really good burgers and onion rings.
My first time around I will give it four stars. I stopped by around 5:30 after work. I ordered the Jagerschnitzel with sauerkraut, potatoes, and it came with mushroom gravy and Texas toast. The pork chop was incredibly thin as you can see in my second picture. It was seasoned OK, but it was a bit bland for my taste. It was battered perfectly as I’m not a fan of thick batter. The mushroom gravy is wonderful you could probably drink that straight. The sauerkraut and potatoes could’ve used a little bit more seasoning as well. I will be back to try more of their entrées. I don’t wanna give up on them just yet. I was not a fan of the two employees watching videos five feet away from me while was I was trying to relax after a long day of work but I’m sure they were tired from a long day as well. ETA - I went back to get a regular hamburger and it was okay. Not too greasy and the patty could have had more flavor. Their desserts are fabulous. I wish I could remember the two desserts I tried. I will keep giving them a chance. Maybe they just had an off-day. It happens.
Super pleased with this cute spot! Food was fresh and delicious, prices were great, and service was top notch. Will be returning very soon. Try the braut burger, you won't regret it!!
Best Reuben I've ever had in my ENTIRE life! House made pastrami and thousand island dressing. Wow! Perfectly grilled marbled rye and crunchy sauerkraut. Now, back on my sandwich. Mmmm good.
This hidden little gem hands down makes THE best burgers in Jarrell. I almost don’t want to write a review because it is so tiny and can get packed at lunchtime but I will tell you, if you have not tried it before, you should. I have not tried anything else on the menu, but I have ordered the burgers quite a few times and each time consistently delicious.
Good food friendly service
Grabbed a burger on a pretzel bun and it was top tier
Great lunch specials not fast food but good food
Customer service was pleasant.
Service was prompt.
Best place to eat with reasonable prices and clean and friendly
Don't expect anything fancy! And I don't mean that negatively at all. I had the biggest most delicious omelette I've had in a while. Texas sized food at a Rhode Island sized price. No frills just great food. Nice little gem along the road side.
It's one of those places that if you just glance at it, you will be like, "nah I'm going to go someplace else"....BUT this is a hidden gem in a rough building sitting in a dirt lot that is well worth the stop! The burgers are tasty and delicious and cooked just right and the service is spectacular. We are putting a heart on this one and will be stopping here frequently in our travels up and down I-35.
Best bang for the buck. Pleasantly surprised.
