I edited this after a few more visits. I have never been a black coffee drinker until lately. Behold Pariah Coffee and some, no the best coffee I have ever had, black or otherwise. I love that the proprietor roasts his own beans. I enjoy getting a cup of crafted coffee from someone who knows their stuff and is happy to share their knowledge. Don't go expecting a Starbucks type of thing. Go because you want a truly enjoyable coffee. And maybe a pastry. I don't know who supplies their pastries, but yum! Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely one of the best coffee shops I’ve found! Caramel apple butter latte and salted caramel latte were amazing! What a great place.

Quality over quantity! This place is truly a gem… coffee is freshly roasted in house, which unlocks a world of difference from flavor to variety. A freshly roasted single origin gesha from Columbia was on the menu today. (FYI gesha, a flavor packed new species of coffee discovered in 2010 which out of Panama was recorded to be one the most expensive coffee ever sold). And If your not into the nerdy coffee stuff, flavored lattes are still offered here… again, freshly roasted. Wife got the iced salted caramel. This place puts an emphasis on what’s in the cup vs what can be commercially sold.

Amazing find!!!! The coffee was perfect! I don’t like my coffee to sweet or to bitter and the owner suggested pistachio latte and it was fabulous. My husband likes his a little sweeter and ordered the salted caramel and his was just as amazing (and not to sweet). We also ordered the banana bread and spinach quiche and both were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

I am not afraid to admit that I am a coffee nerd. So when I come across a coffee shop where the owner roasts his own beans..in the shop, can talk to you about ratios and ins and outs of pulling a quality espresso. When you can talk for hours about grind size, processes and origins…then I have found a great coffee shop. I didn’t even get this guys name but he can and does try to get his customers to appreciate coffee without adding cream and sugar. This guy knows his coffee and does such a great job with it…if only people would give him a chance. He does a great job. This shop is a must when you are on the island and let him show you how great your coffee is all by itself. Well done Pariah

I really want to give this gem a 5 star review because they are such a needed commodity on the island, but both days we visited there was only one person working and a long long line to wait in. Their coffee with great! The staff is great! But please please hire additional staff!

Came here 3 times during my short business trip. Every single time, they don’t miss the mark. I ordered on separate visits: hot mocha, hot vanilla latte, iced mocha, hot roasted hazelnut latte, and hot matcha tea latte. Every one of those drinks were marvelous. I especially enjoyed that the espresso didn’t taste burnt. The sausage jalapeño cheese kolaches were nice surprise! They had pickled jalapeños in it so it wasn’t too spicy and had a nice tart. The only issue I had with it was that it was served cold, straight out of the cooler. I had it ordered for to go so microwaving it too much wasn’t of an issue. I didn’t ask them to warm it up but I’m sure they’d be willing to accommodate if you dined in. This is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars as it would’ve been nice to eat a warm kolache in the car driving back. Friendly employee and clean place. Great cafe especially it being on an island in a somewhat desolated area.

We stopped for two Americanos and came away with a free deep-dive education on coffee. I don't know the name of the gentleman behind the counter, but he is serious about getting the best results from a coffee bean. I roast my own coffee at home. When he found out, we spent the next 15 minutes going over coffee regions, natural vs washed beans, getting beans from wholesalers and farmers, and when to stop the roast. What does this mean for you who might not give a whit about these matters? You're going to get an excellent coffee drink that puts Starbucks to shame.

Great coffee shop a short beach walk away from the state park. Assortment of croissants, kolaches, breads, quiche and danishes.

Super cute, quaint coffee shop. I really liked the meditation statue inside. We ordered vanilla lattes. The coffee was great. Not to strongly flavored and not overly sweet. We also ordered a cinnamon roll which turned out to have raisins in it, after we had asked the girl working the counter and she told us that they were peanuts.. Overall, we had a nice experience.
