Went for the first time Thursday and had Eggs Benedict. My server Matt went above and beyond. He was congenial and professional which made my experience even better. I especially liked the decor and atmosphere. This is a well run establishment and I recommend it for a great brunch and delicious Mimosa's.
Edit: we went during Mother’s Day for brunch (2023). We hadn’t been there since they first opened but I was hoping for the same atmosphere. We knew going in that there’d be a wait. They have closed half the restaurant. They took away a lot of the tables and it’s just big benches so no cozy atmosphere. We didn’t wait long. We got seated and then were told that you order at the bar. The prices were ridiculous. I understand places are short-staffed and prices everywhere went up. But we saw a lot of servers just standing around, talking, clearing tables. I would have rather gone to IHOP - you get more food for similar and you still get waited on. It was Mother’s Day - I didn’t want that sort of service where I have to get up. So we left. Don’t think I’ll be going back. So sad because it was a neat place. From a year ago: Super cute place! I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We came on a Saturday morning and they said wait was 30 minutes for two people, sat within 15 mins. Food came out fast. Coffee was a little sweet. Prices are comparable to other places like IHOP. Great place for groups, family and friends. Great photo ops. We will be back!
Got the Papa Con Huevo Breakfast Taco and black Americano. The food and coffe was awesome. Service was great and atmosphere was very pleasant
We are from Houston and we always stop at Pour Station has the best breakfast and best drink
Terrible business model. Gave two stars because workers were friendly and food wasn’t all bad. You have to order your food at the bar and where we were sat there was people waiting in line to order at the bar so it made it kind of crowded at times. Gave the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was just ordering. I asked for water when our server came to ask if we needed anything and they pointed me to the self serve station on the other side of the restaurant. Also noticed there is an additional fee for paying with card. Gratuity is also added on for 5 or more people which is weird since the servers weren’t doing much to begin with if I have to get up order myself and get my own drink. There was too many employees just standing around to also make a customer get their own water and put in their order. Definitely won’t be coming back. Plenty of other places to get breakfast. Save your money.
Coffee was on point and the staff was super nice going back again
Absolutely horrible. This place use to be poppin. Food was so over priced, vibe was so off. Girl never approach us 30 minutes sitting there. We left to coffee klatch. 🫶🏽
Great food and fair price. Loved it. Good people. God bless them and the facility.
Save your money. Service is horrible took about 45 min to seat us mind you there was tables available. They don't take orders from table you have to get up and order from bar, inconvenience when you have a party of 6 & 2 babies. Asked specifically if eggs are fresh and they said yes, but they were out of a carton. Def overpriced for what quality of food and service they give. Bunch of 20 year olds standing around doing a whole bunch of nothing. Payed $160 to wait our selfs.
This business model is terrible. You can only order at the bar even if the place is empty. You need to pay with cash (exact change only) or cashapp. Then they “forgot” to put in half our order. Worst customer service. If you’re thinking of eating here don’t.
Coffee was cold the service was wanting and the ordering style is just weird! And service looks lost!
We went for breakfast and the food was delicious. My 2 small kids liked their food as well. We ordered the Brunch Board, and it was so good. Highly recommend.
The menu change and way you order food really made this place suffer. It used to be a nice unique spot with really cool features we hadn't seen in harlingen. Now it's just as generic as any other small restaurant in town. Similar menus too. What a shame. I actually walked out of a restaurant for the first time today because I just didn't want anything on the "new" generic menu. Really unfortunate. Pour Station used to be the highlight of my weekend. Guess it's IHOP or Dennys now.
Food is good. The bad part is that you get charged 36% on gratuity so always check your ticket.
Super ridiculous! No cash transactions but they charge you a fee for paying with cards? Tell me how that makes sense? Food was basic. Mimosa was strong. Yeah, I don't know about coming back.
This was our first time eating at The Pour Station and we loved it. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely making this one of my favorite spots for brunch.
This was my husbands and I second time coming here. The first time was an okay experience since it was when they first opened and their prices were reasonable but service still needed improvement. but this second time assured us that we probably won’t be returning. Prices have changed since last time we came. They have a weird system of ordering having to order at the bar and take a number. This breakfast is overpriced and plain. $12 for two pieces of bread and not even a half a strawberry and a very plain $15 omelette for my husband that only came with very thick slices of avocado (not ripe) on top. Cute place but save your money and time.
The ambiance and choice of decor is the best part about this place. It has so much potential but sadly fell very short of perceptions and expectations. The coffee was terrible. It tasted burnt as if the filters had not been changed or had leftover burnt grounds. The water is served from a 5 gallon jug that clearly gets filled from the faucet. The food is way overpriced for what it is and is sadly not very appetizing. the spinach omelet we ordered had literal garlic halves inside of it, it was way too much garlic and not minced. The burger patty was tiny for a 13$ burger. The brunch potatoes were greasy and cold. I was hoping this place would be the "different" place or "change" that Harlingen needs. The idea is nice but execution is extremely poor.
The place had a nice vibe to it. Food was good. Coffee was room temp. This coffee thing could’ve just been us but we ordered “cafe the olla” and it was served in a cute Mexican style cup but it was room temp on a cold day. I asked our server to heat it up and he did but it wasn’t hot it was warm. Since I didn’t want to be so picky I just chugged it before it got cold. The food was really tasty we ordered “migas and chilaquiles” and both were on point and had a homemade taste to it. Our girls ate pancakes that they both liked only downside was it was served in a small plate- the size of the pancakes were the same exact size of the plate.
The wait for the food was very long, the service was leaning more towards a fast food restaurant. The food was overpriced for the portion and flavor.
