Little town cafe with big town food, attitude, and friendliness. Chicken fry is especially good 👍.

What an interesting place. Out in the middle of no where you find a nice restaurant. We had their taco salad (special for the day) and it was really good. Service was friendly and timely. We stopped again on our way home and I had fried catfish (excellent) and my husband had a steak finger basket that he said was really good. Will certainly stop again if we are in this part of Texas.

The food is just okay I'd go back again there is not a huge selection mostly home town foods the service is better then they are not busy as expected we always have to wait a bit before someone tends to us they were out of Dr. pepper on a Friday night and the side dishes were cold but the main dish was hot I've had the chicken fingers and the steak fingers on separate occasions I'd do the chicken again but not the steak nice atmosphere just a country setting not crowded at all!

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch special (Chicken fried steak) it was hot and delicious and the desert was amazing. Our waitress and staff were very friendly and welcoming, which felt like home away from home. Great atmosphere and very clean Café. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area or passing by.

This is a very large place with a western motif that has been that way for some time but is well kept. I guess if I had to complain the mashed potatoes were a little overdone but other than that the food was great the two young ladies that were my servers were very pleasant we discussed why they didn't have live music in there from time to time and things like that but it's a small town and it's unfortunate that this big nice building with these nice people in it is not more full all the time. I recommend this place and we'll eat there again when I pass through...

We always try to time our trip route to be in Gustine at lunch! Food is always good, as is the service. Chicken fry is a favorite and the fried okra is always good.

Food was good but pricey. Their loaded bake potato was $5 more than I can buy it for at Austin's Jason's Deli. When I asked to have the meat removed the best they could give me was a dollar off. They did offer more butter for the baked potato which was very nice that they had it, since I cannot eat margarine. The meat loaf was out of this world good, but was in a very small portion. The dessert was horrible. The green beans here were the best my husband said that he's ever eaten in his 60 years on Earth. I've tasted better tea, they could improve on the tea and dessert. The walls are decorated uniquely. Loved it all, especially the part about JESUS.
