If ever cutting through Groesbeck before 3pm (and not on a Monday), this is a wonderful diner with an assortment of deliciousness! And you should try their milk shakes - tasty and addictive! And you can get breakfast all day.
Experiencing small town Texas was fun. The burrito was delicious. The drip coffee was tasty. The unique character of the cafe added to our time there.
The fish special was top notch! Everything was hot and fresh, staff was super friendly.
Great food and awesome service, Ashley took good care of us even when I asked for a special request for breakfast!! Thanks for the foodie memories 😌 blessed for the scrumptious meal and atmosphere.💖😉
EXCELLENT food. We just moved to Groesbeck a couple of weeks ago, and of the places we have tried around here so far this has been our favorite. We got 4 different orders. Two burgers, shrimp, and a hamburger steak- and there was not a single thing to complain about. The service was excellent when I went to pick it up. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience and we will absolutely be coming back. On top of all of this, they are so reasonably priced for what you get. Next time we will be trying the breakfast!
Great comfort foods. Nice staff and atmosphere. You can people watch the whole town from the window lol. Nice little town with nice people
A great café on the corner that serves up a great breakfast and lunch! If you're looking for the best around, you found it. Do yourself a favor and come check it out.
Simple, good country food. Chicken fried steak was very good.
Delicious food with friendly staff. We prefer to eat local when traveling and glad we stopped in.
Great food and service. Best burgers in the county.
I've been eating breakfast here for a couple of years now and absolutely love this place. The food is very good and always served hot and fresh. I travel to Groesbeck once or twice a month and always stop in for breakfast. You won't be disappointed stopping here. I highly recommend eating here.
Had a really good burger
Great little restaurant tucked away on main Street in groesbeck tx. Fast and friendly service with great home cooking.
We stopped in while on a motorcycle ride. Service was wonderful. Food was great and the wait for it was not long. We'll return just to enjoy it again!
Out of towners here for baseball. Great little place! We would definitely eat here again. Professional sweet waiter. 5 stars all day long!
Big portions. Neat old downtown building.
Small town cafe with good food and desserts. I had a chichen fried steak sandwich. Steak was very good, but I didn't care for bread ( which was toasted sandwich bread ). I would have preferred a regular type bun. Onion rings and French fries were good. Wife's BLT needed more bacon and a little less lettuce.
Ran in ten minutes before they closed. They made fresh coffee and a hamburger with fresh cut fries. Friendly service!
I absolutely have to say that I love love love this place. For there's nothing like a calm and adequate atmosphere for a very hearty breakfast. Being that I love to cook and I love to eat and having those two things not agree at times I do find myself here enjoying every bit of my decision to bypass both of my own personal requests. The pancakes are so delish!!! Maybe sometime in the near future I will order outside the box LOL till then!
I must say, nothing usually surprises me. Gluten free me. On this particular instance from start to finish, I felt like I was one of the main characters in a true life novel being written here in Groesbeck, Texas by myself and many other writers. I think the lead characters were quite pleasant! Home town courtesy at it's highest. No ones expectations were even a key point. Just being people doing people things with no major plot. Vibrations were high. Everyone left with their own, chapter or chapter end. Their life's, very interesting, how all was well and well received. Felt nice 😌. Thank you one and all, that I had the pleasure of this establishments Good Vibes eating yummiest sustenance. Did my body and a soul, some good! If you experienced this with me, thank you all for letting me be me. My guest, My guest star character, he was quite Gallant, My loyal order taker character, handled my every dietetic need due to Celiac Sprue Disease and all my characters that came and went while we were all enjoying our "Sunday bread breaking". God please grant us the ability to hold character and continue to share the pages of our lives as we all lived it chapter by chapter with each other and add a few along the way, that day in Jesus name, Thank everyone involved the day I first visited the Goat Pride at the Home Town Cafe on the corner on my street. Just downtown on the street where I reside. Walking distant from my door to Kamdan's Cafe's door. Fancy that! God bless us all. Thanks be to God!! MCH aka 'Tina'
