Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. The food was amazing, worth the wait. If you have time, definitely stop by.

Really cute little coffee bar. Came here for the TIR race and there were a lot of people but they were really friendly and decently fast. Definitely stop by! Fresh baked goods and great coffee

We were in town dropping a cat off to a forever home. I wanted to look around because it was so beautiful in Gonzalez, Tx. Found a really nice shop and decided to go in. Walked to counter to begin our order and the cashier was somewhere in outer space. No can I help you, not even a Hello...I gave her our order. There are 2 of us...panini and a grilled cheese. Well, the panini came out, delivered by space cadet. I asked where my grilled cheese was. After an eye roll and heavy sigh, she said 'oh did you order that ?' ummm, my daughter heard me...she started writing it down on a ticket.....By then I am so turned off by her attitude, I told her to forget it. Took panini and left. For such a fun ,different, exciting place....The cashier killed it. Terrible customer service. What a shame!!!!

I begged my fiance all week to take me to brunch here. We drove over a half hour from out of town because I had seen this restaurant while driving though and wanted to eat here. We came in, stood in line then eventually took a seat. Pulled the menu up online as we were not given one or greeted by the numerous staff around. Made our decision and waited still to see if we were going to be greated by a server. Thought, maybe we need to stand in line and order, so after a few minutes we took our place in the front of the line asking if we should seat and be waited on still or order here. Being directed by the young man behind the counter to sit down we did again. And waited. And waited. In this time three tables, including one of eight or so patriots was sat, handed menus and their orders taken. We had still yet to even have a server make eye contact with us. As we left I asked to see the manager. At this point the young lady behind the counter said yes, pointed at him and allowed us to wait right at the register. When the man identified as the manager walked back into the kitchen we left the restaurant. All I wanted was to eat a nice breakfast with my love in a historic town. I now have a cup of coffee from Texpresso and a promise to stop at another place for food. Horrible experience that has probably taken us to a whole other town for the day. I was really hoping to explore Gonzalez.

Went there for the first time for breakfast. The food and coffee were good. I got a savory crepe and my wife got a sweet one. Would recommend giving it a try.
