Long wait to order, watched the gal behind the counter remake the same milkshake twice putting the content from cup back into the blender. When we finally got to the counter there was no customer service at all, no thank you for waiting or patience. Only 2 gals working and both looked like they didn’t want to be there. Also observed other customers while there who also didn’t look happy with the wait and also not greeted respectfully at the counter. The over all experience was terrible that I won’t go back just because of service.

Nice vibe with good outdoor seating but watch out for the mosquitoes! Coffee is so-so. They really cater to those wanting coffee flavored drinks, not so much coffee drinkers. Caveat emptor.
Our favorite coffee shop on the island. The coffee is good, the frappes are good, and I don’t know the name of the awesome human who remembered us after a short amount of time but she completed the entire vibe.

For a Sunday, I was not happy with service, we are regulars and we came in ordered and then watch 7-8 people get their drinks before us. We waited around 25 minutes for 2 drinks, maybe need to work 3 people behind the counter so people don't have to wait that long.
This shop was recommended by a Starbucks barista, so we sought it out. All of us liked the coffees and sweets we got. If I came again, I would sit outside on one of their patio chairs.
We enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was a calming.
We vacationed in Galveston and came here two different days because the coffee was so good!!
Sugar Bean is an absolute gem of a coffee shop in Galveston that never disappoints. The cozy little coffee shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon. The staff is incredibly friendly, and always go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome. The quality of the coffee is simply exceptional. They use high-quality coffee beans that are roasted to perfection, making every cup of coffee absolutely delicious. Along with coffee, they have a great selection of teas, pastries, and ice cream. Overall, Sugar Bean is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves coffee and great vibes. It's the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in Galveston. Highly recommended!

I wanted to like this place. I can't even recommend some customer service training for the girls behind the counter, no excuses for how cold and short they were. 1st off I wasn't greeted when I came in. When the customer in front of me was taken care of there was no " I'll be right with you, one moment" she just walked away to tend to other things. Then she graced me with her presence and asked what do you want. I felt so unwelcome. It's hard to tell these days if they just dont care about repeat business and ignore all people or if I was profiled. Regardless I wouldn't go here again no matter how decent a product was.
This stand is so wonderful, amazing prices and the lady that runs it is an absolute angel. She always makes my day better and is just so filled with joy. It’s worth the extra couple min to go here. My favorite place for a pick me up. :)
