Went here for breakfast and got the biscuits and gravy. It comes with two sausage patties, which I cut up and put on top of the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are a really good size and are softy and fluffy. Very delicious!!!

We stopped here on our way to east Texas. We were seated, and placed our order right away so that we could be on our way quickly. We waited an hour for our food. The food wasn't bad, but when we paid the bill we found that we were overcharged by about $10 for my 2 pancakes and my husband's biscuit sandwich with 1/2 piece of bacon. The bill came to almost $30. When we asked about it and compared the prices on the menu for the items we had ordered, nothing matched. The prices charged were inflated. Around us many people received food that was not what they had ordered. The place was totally disorganized. The only response offered to everyone's complaints was, "I understand". No remedy to the situation was offered.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Would not even recommend this place to stray dogs. We gave this place a try the evening before the high school graduation and will never try again.

Avoid this place... The server told us to sit wherever we liked, and that's the last time we spoke to anyone. Waited 25 minutes before walking out. Also, when I tried to approach the staff about the service, they turned and walked away...

We loved this place. The owner actually prepared our food and came out to chat with us. My big breakfast burrito was really big and made correctly as I requested. It was delicious. It was so huge I had to cut off about 1/3 of it to share with my hubby! The hash brown serving was large too and perfectly browned. Loved them. Gary loved his food too. Our meals were ready for us quickly. It was so good, we both ate every bite! The owner has made this a great place to go get a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price. Decorated with quaint and charming old time signs and antiques. Wish there were more mom and pop places like these around. It is a jewel and a must stop in if you are traveling through Ft. Stockton. We definitely will if we are traveling around there and one last comment, never saw such huge padded benches in restaurant booths. Very spacious and comfortable to spread out and enjoyed home cooked food! We left stuffed to the gills. 😋

Nice place. Menu looked good. Not sure what was going on, but waitress went by me three times and never even asked for my drink order. Attended two tables next to me. Finally got up and left. Maybe next time.

Loved the hand breaded chicken fried steak. Service was a little challenging but tolerable. Will stop here again for sure.

This is a great little mom and pop place to eat if you live in Fort Stockton or just passing through. The waitress was very attentive and nice , the cook even came out of the kitchen to ask if he had prepared our meal to our liking’s. The owner Dallas was also very nice , he came over and chatted with my husband . It’s such a friendly atmosphere. Not to mention the food was amazing . It’s hard to get such great service these days and to have such yummy food on top of that made for a good travel home. Thank you Sagebrush Cafe for a great experience, I highly recommend eating here !

Just sharing with everyone that the owner Dallas is a thief. He took donated goods to help raise money for a fundraiser and instead of delivering the money raised, he kept it. When we asked for him to pay for the donated items that were to be used to raise the money he failed to produce even that. Owner is not a trustworthy person. If in Fort Stockton my advice would be to eat at a different restaurant.

What a wonderful restaurant! Food was amazing (outstanding country-fried steak) and service was super friendly. And the restaurant has amazing and unique indoor decorations that we ended up browsing for quite some time.

The only thing that might save this place is the fried mushrooms and the fact that it is one of the only places to dine out in the hole in the wall town. Service sucked. We had to ask for napkins multiple times. My "burger bun" was a stale dinner roll and inedible. Total disappointment.

Food was ok. Service was pretty bad. It was a long wait just to get our waters. Wasn’t busy at all. Not sure why it had so many good reviews. If you’re traveling through the state, I would avoid this stop.

The cook is nasty under cooked food. We will not be back. Don’t now how this place is still in business.

Very good burgers and onion rings. Pretty decent fried pickles and my friends really liked the catfish. Service was pretty slow but very friendly
