Small owned business with some of the absolute best service, coffee, drinks, and sweets. They even offer personalized baked good for parties, etc.

Came in on a Friday afternoon to get cold brew and chat with a friend. Unfortunately they ran out of cold brew but the baristas helped me navigate a different iced beverage to drink. Settled on an iced oatmilk latte and it was great! Also picked up a bag of their home brew which is made of roasted beans from Whats Brewing who I LOVE! 5/5 Customer service 5/5 beverage quality 4/5 interior only because it's a bit tight in there but they work their space well! Highly recommend if you're in fair oaks!

Been here probably four times over the past two years - not only is this place very expensive but I have never received a palatable drink, although I keep giving them a second chance out of convenience. I usually order a hot latte, today I ordered it iced so it's just a little easier for the barista. I realized the issue today when the barista held my cup up and it was more than half full with the espresso shot they just pulled. When I saw this I almost asked to cancel the order and get a refund, which I regret not doing. Then I watched them fill it up with ice and put a splash of milk on top. I know every coffee shop might make their drinks differently, but this is not a latte. A latte should be majority milk. The espresso should not be half of the drink. This shop does not know how to use an espresso machine. They need a machine that tamps and pulls a shot for the barista by a push of a button, these children don't know how to pull a proper shot. There should be less water used per shot. Having spent $7 before tip it seems almost disrespectful to be given the drink they gave me, which I didn't even drink. The shop is cute, the baristas friendly, they get good quality beans from What's Brewing, they just don't know how to use them.

Being a local, we have tried this establishment several times. We have had issues with our orders each time (incorrect drinks made). And every time we have received service without a friendly hello or smile in response to our greeting. I will say that the times we have ordered breakfast sandwiches, they have been amazing. Hopefully things will improve. I'm quite shocked this place has 4.5 stars.

White mocha was really good and the scones were heavenly. Was very pleasantly surprised by that. Good little spot in Fair Oaks. Update: don't go here if you're in a rush. It's been painfully slow the last few times I've come. Today, the lady taking orders was incompetent. I ordered a hot drink and had to tell her twice it was hot cuz she kept trying to use a iced cup. Then she dropped my scone on the floor. Also, if you order a scone, you'll likely have to remind the person behind the counter to give it to you before you leave.

I’m a big fan of this local coffee shop! Location is convenient for grab and go, but there is a nice patio to sit and chat and a community table to run into random friends at. It’s comfortable, the staff is super friendly and the coffee is seriously good. I like the tacos but my girlfriend says they’re not “authentic” enough so she gets a bagel or muffin sandwich. They also have some great Red Bull Italian sodas!

I asked for a macchiato not sure why they mix it if it is a macchiato. Two average medium coffees for $14 something plus tip almost $17. I said thank you and no one acknowledge me… the man that came after me got his coffee first and was greeted and thanked by everyone lol

Let me start with the fact that I am not a coffee drinker because most chains make it so bitter, but the Spotted Deer is the first coffee shop I’ve tried in the area that doesn’t burn their espresso. This makes for some delicious and not bitter coffee! I am a huge chai latte girl and this is by far the best dirty chai in town. So glad I finally tried this spot after living right down the street for a year. Only wish I would’ve tried it sooner.

Thanks so much to Yelp Elite for the opportunity to check out this new coffee shop! It’s a great location, a lot of natural light and a good place to work/study. We ordered 2 hot taro milk teas, 1 chocolate muffin, and bought a chocolate milk for my son! The taro was amazing, I think it’s my new favorite drink. They have the cutest mer h, t shirts, hats and stickers! Stop by and meet Gaby, the owner, she is AWESOME!

Great coffee and tacos! This place has a good vibe and very friendly staff. They’re just what Fair Oaks needed right in the center of the community.
