This is a "new location" review. I say that because the current rating for this place is misleading since the reviews are mostly related to the previous location. That said, this new location is just not good. It seems the owners definitely bite off more than they could chew here. It was so much nicer as a smaller more intimate place across the street. The current space is not cute at all and smells like a public restroom throughout the entire bar/restaurant. The floors, walls, and seats are all very dirty and don't appear to be looked after in any genuine way. It's almost like they didn't bother to clean anything after they took it over from the previous tenants. Unfortunately, the food definitely leaves more to be desired here too. Portions are below average and the taste is lackluster on most items. The chilaquiles are just soggy nachos. But no matter what, do not order the refried black beans. These are just bad. It's really sad to say it, but this place became a victim of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I hope they get back to quality vs quantity here. Eloise was cute before and somewhere to look forward to.

I’m not one to write reviews, however everything about my bunch experiences here was just not good. The food and drinks were horrible. My friend and I each had a cocktail and they were very water downed, I wanted to send them back however my friend convinced me otherwise. Then we got the food… I had the Pueblo pobalano plate and it was decent, however my friend had some omelet and the egg was burnt and gross. I spent 66$ on two people. Such a waste. Never going back.

Eloise is what I would call a nouveau-French-European spot. Newly relocated into a space once inhabited by a dive-bar, the edges of this restaurant are still fairly rough. The patio/outside dining is a work in progress and offers little curb appeal. Upon entering the establishment there was a noticeable haze inside from the kitchen. While not putrid, it made me concerned that we would leave smelling like the restaurant. The French/European flair is immediately evident and a nice change compared to a majority of small El Paso dining establishments. The lighting was a bit on the darker side and it was difficult to see the others in our party as the sunlight from the front windows caused a harsh backlight. The art work on the walls and overall theme of the restaurant offer a decent attempt a French cafe but with time I hope it all comes together. The closest you could compare is Le Madeline and of course there is no comparison. I certainly hope there is one day! The menu choices are more vegan and vegetarian friendly than your average El Pasoan may be used to but they're not absurd. The chicken sandwich and their beef patty burgers recommendations for the carnivore in the group. We ordered the vegan nachos nachos, grilled cheese and Akaushi all natural beef patty with their pure cane sugar soda to drink. The portions were generous, we didn't finish the nachos and shared portions of the burgers; the soda tasted like flat cherry cola. Be prepared for approximately $20-$25 per person. We did not purchase any alcohol or coffee. The menu is not kid friendly save for the grilled cheese. Our waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. I believe a deep knowledge of the menu and a brief explanation of the menu would greatly improve the overall experience unless the ownership wishes to keep their core clientele to a select group. The menu is difficult to decipher for the average person. I do not believe we will be back, but please do not let this review set a concrete view of Eloi

I really wish I would have ordered a salad! The chiliquiles sounded good, I love enchiladas so I was looking forward to it! Boy was I disappointed! This was glorified nachos not even done well! They slapped some chips on the plate, drizzled a tablespoon of 🌶️ sauce, a smattering of cheese and some purple onion. The best thing about this plate was the black beans. The worst was that only a FEW chips had cheese, the rest were naked. So I paid $14 for a plate of chips with a side of beans 🫘. Wow 😮 Not Impressed. I was so disappointed I couldn’t even take a picture. For dessert we decided to try the cookies 🍪— one chocolate chip and one ginger snap. The cookie, especially the ginger snap, was so hard I could not cut it with the knife! Maybe another visit will yield better results 🤷🏼‍♀️

Service was slow. Server was not attentive and did not value my time as a customer. Food was bland. Will not be back :(

The best dining experience in El Paso. The restaurant is hidden, but worth finding this hidden gem. The portions are hefty so the price is actually amazing. The vibe and asthetic is so fun with their eclectic pink and green. Drinks are good, but it’s truly so much more than just a bar with their homemade tasting bread on their burgers, flavorful Hsinchu noodle bowl, and vegan nachos with cute pink cauliflower! Lastly their service 10/10!

First time here, wrong place to pick for a quick bite / drink. Half the menu was out :/ and even the drink menu was out.. I couldn’t order a margarita or anything on the menu. It was frustrating because everything I attempted to order was out of stock multiple times. What I did order was great! And the service was great..

Service used to be good. This should help 😆 Old fashioned: 6 to 8 ounces; double: 12 to 14 ounces. Highball: 10 to 16 ounces.

From the beginning we showed up at the waitress looked bothered to even be there. So we sat at the table and every time we asked for a drink the waitress and staff were bother and they didn’t have anyone at the resturant. The food was horrible $200 bucks later def not worth it! Go to grove, ripe, anywhere else

Pretty disappointed with our visit today. We came from Las Cruces, placed an order for pickup so we didn’t open the order until getting home. I ordered the curry (which I have done countless times before, both for take out and in the restaurant), and when I got home both the container with the curry and the rice that came with it were half empty. Usually the containers are full. I called the restaurant and told them, they initially made excuses for it, then said they would make sure our next order would be full next time. Eventually said they’d give us 10% off next visit. I’m sorry, but 10% isn’t even going to cover the gas it would take to get there. Extremely disappointing, and it seems as though the service here has been declining. Proceed with caution

This place is sooooo good! We are a group of vegetarians and have been travelling the US for 3 months. This was within our top 3 meals our entire time here (and we’ve eaten really well). Menu is perfect for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores too. So good we all bought takeout breakfast to have tomorrow. Great playlist, great vibes, super tasty cocktails and particularly amazing service from James who was really helpful, answered all our questions about the menu and chatted to us about El Paso culture etc. This meal and place genuinely felt like it was soothing my soul. Loved every moment ♥️

I wish I had taken a pic of the beautiful California omelette I got but I dove right in. It comes with a perfectly dressed salad and the eggs are cooked just right 🤌🏽 Great music, of course.

I had heard great things about this restaurant and was disappointed when i arrived. There were 4 of us and we ordered drinks and food. The the only thing that was good from the 4 plates we ordered was the omelet. The rest was unimpressive... service was very slow but there was only one server/bartender/host so definitely under staffed which management should not do to one person. I hope this is a one off instance as we need more vegan restaurants

Best place in El Paso! Staff is sociable and fun with great service!! Love all the fresh plant based choices with house made ingredients. Large portions. Fabulous cocktails. The U shaped bar made it easy to chat with others. Highly recommended!! I go every time I’m passing through El Paso!!

ordered a burger for pick up and was told 20 min, when i got there i had to wait another 15. the cheese was also not even melted, just kind of warm. the bread was dry and the fries were heavily over seasoned. also they give marinara sauce for the fries? thats kinda weird. i was gonna give 2 stars but theres a lot of other items on the menu id be willing to try.

This place was delicious! It’s my new favorite restaurant. Our server David was awesome and recommended the best drink, the blueberry margarita. It was small but had a punch. Dangerous though bc I didn’t even taste the alcohol. The Buffalo bomber is the best I’ve ever had. All the food was homemade and you can tell they take pride. 10/10 definitely coming back.
