Another old time, family owned restaurant. Place was spotless.. Food great. Mixed the batter and then made the pancakes. It's a "back in time" counter experience! Worth it! Thanks Irene for the great service!!
Owner makes good food but she has an attitude about small things. I took my young daughter with me because she had been craving food and she has been off school for poison oak on her skin. Maybe it's time to move on to someone else, I don't need my daughter picking up on any bad attitude.
Love Bennys! Really good food! Very clean. Salsa was excellent and the tacos amazing. We didn’t like the tea. It tasted like it was from the day before. And our waitress was not very good. But everyone else made up for it. She hardly ever would look at the tables, preferring to keep to herself with other tasks. She’d probably be good doing something else in the restaurant. But like I said everyone else made up for it. Super good food! I’ll be coming back for more!
First time here and if you haven't been, you're missing out! If you're a chilaquiles fan these are the best looking and even better best tasting I have had between Eagle Pass, San Antonio and here in Del Rio!

This is a small little Cafe but it has so much character. I wanted to try some where new, and I am glad we came across this restaurant. When you walk in you feel like you step back in time, and the ladies are friendly. We all had something different and my breakfast all cooked to perfection. I enjoyed every bite. Restaurant like this makes you love the small towns
Are you looking for an authentic meal cooked by a Mexican senora right in front of you? Look no further. It’s here. No frills. No Americanized Mexican food. This is the real deal. That means it might not explode with flavor or be too creative, but the authenticity is what is so great here. Strongly recommend.

This Place Had A Nostalgia Feel To It. The Moment I Walked In, It Felt Like I Walked into my Grandma's House. The Ladies there were very Polite and very sweet. And the Food Was Very Delicious 😋
Will NEVER GO AGAIN. WAITRESSES HAD A BAD ATTITUDE AND BARELY SERVED ME COFFEE ONCE. I ASKED FOR AN ADDITIONAL DRINK AND TORTILLA THEY NEVER BROUGHT IT TO ME. FOOD GOT COLD AND TORTILLA NEVE CAME. ALMOST 50.00 FOR MEDIOCRE A BREAKFAST.

Great breakfast! In town to visit my son and love a good 2 eggs over easy with bacon, hashbrowns and toast. The best!
