Massively overpriced. The food is tasty and fresh but it’s nothing particularly special. The flavors are not unique and I’ve had much better meals at restaurants that cost much less. Even at half the price I wouldn’t go back.
Wandered in before an event at the DSO. Sat at the bar for dinner and a drink. Sam the bartender was kept quite busy but still managed to chat and keep tabs on my orders. The food was excellent and I even had a surprise plate of roasted shishito peppers to eat with the Uni Nigiri sushi 🍣 I ordered as my appetizer. The seabass was cooked to perfection with a light char along the edges. Perfect consistency to eat with chopsticks. The shiitake Mushroom risotto with uni champagne reduction *chefs kiss* out of this world! Their signature old fashioned paired well with my meal. I even splurged for the Creme Brulee and was not disappointed! Sooooo yummy. I will definitely be checking this place out again. (I hear there's a speakeasy open on certain nights!!!)
The service was very slow. It took a really long time to get the fried rice. The beef was hard and chewy. Not really a good dish. As for the rolls if you buy the cheap ones at around 8 dollars it is actually worse than grocery sushi. I spent more than a hundred so I was expecting something good but I was really disappointed.
Musume is definitely one of the best. I really love seafood, and loved it even more with Musume's scallops and lobster! It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I really can't wait to go back here and have seafoods again. Also, the place is commendable and staffs are very accommodating. Definitely 5 out of 5!
Superb service and delicious plates. Dined with a group of coworkers and ordered family style. The server was amazing and each dish prepared with care. Great spot for a celebration dinner.
I had some temporary dietary restrictions and they were so accommodating! Delicious food as well
My husband and I came in last weekend and had an amazing experience. Food was great but service was outstanding thanks to our server Vladimir! He made our night very special with great personable conversation and lots of laughs. He recommended us to check out akai in the the back after dinner and we had a great time. Definitely a must
Be prepared to pay for location and vibes. If you're in the area because of a concert or show, this place is just fine for a post-event dinner. However, this is not a place I'd drive out of my way to eat at. I've been here several times on different days of the week and my experience is pretty much the same each time. The only thing I'd order if I was actually hungry is the Yakisoba with crab and beef. The oysters were just fine, the rolls were just fine, the cocktails were overpriced but also just fine. There's nothing really innovative on the menu, and I'm not impressed by gold leaf on a dish. The service is also slow and waiters won't check on you often. It can get really noisy in here too, and wait times can get long in the evening. Make a reservation if you plan to eat here after 8 pm on a weekend.
This place was amazing! I mean everything was flawless from the service to the food to the drinks. Such a vibe! The only possible negative I can think of is it’s a kind of pricey BUT for the atmosphere, quality of food, and location it’s well worth it. Everything we tried was delicious and well presented! I wish I could remember our waiters name, he was so great too! Speakeasy was definitely worth checking out, I would recommend getting a table if you can beforehand. The dj was great too!
We went here for lunch and were amazed at the selection of different Japanese whiskeys. My husband and I are in love with Japanese whiskey and finding selections that we have never been able to try was an absolute delight. We were so impressed with lunch we came back for dinner the next night. The Chef Yuki Omakase is an absolute journey and worth the price and the staff are all knowledgable and friendly. The owner Khalil introduced us to a rare Johnnie Walker and chatted with us for a bit. It is refreshing to see an owner who is so involved with the day to day and loves his business. We will be back next year.
Amazing sushi and the BEST SERVICE ever from our new friend Batista! You truly made the difference, Thanks again mate. Cheers!
Food was great. Our waitress forgot to write down my order. I had to remind her. She messed up our tickets, we've been here waiting for 30 minutes now. No free drink or Manager in sight.
5 and more stars! Service, ambience, food, etc….are simply awesome! Servers have always great suggestion… including a wonderful old-fashioned with Japanese whiskey. A must!
Mediocre quality at a high cost. You can do better in terms of food, service and atmosphere at similar places nearby. The only saving grace for me were the awesome bartenders and great drinks.
Disgusting customer service, the guy that introduced himself as the owner (later on found his name Khalil) yelled at us and opened the door for us to leave because we kept asking about our table that we been waiting for too long!!! It was a terrible night, we eventually decided to stay because it was almost 10 PM and we couldn’t find a new restaurant in the area, we didn’t get our drinks on time and had to cancel it, it was my first and last time in this restaurant, they literally ruined our night with their disgusting behavior towards us the customers, what is sure they will never see us or anyone that we know at this place ever again! With this customer service I prefer to stay hungry. Shame on you.
Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food with great service. 5 stars all the way! Our waitress was so friendly and well informed. Gave us the best recommendations on what to order that were spot on. Sushi was incredibly fresh. My first time trying raw scallops and loved it! Pretty much loved everything we tried. We celebrated my friend's birthday so they gave us the best tempura ice cream I've ever tried. Would highly recommed and looking forward to visiting again.
The owner may be incompetent. The ambience is horrible - take your date here if you don’t want to hear or see them. Some of the sushi was alright, although overpriced (to be expected), while some of it was downright disgusting. I paid $30 for the most repulsive roll I’ve ever eaten.
Food is amazing. Over priced and too crowded. Asked for a better table because we were literally inches from the strangers next to us. We were not allowed to move even though it was early and there was a lot of availability. Hostess was rude about it, also. It’s shocking that you can spend $300 for dinner for two and get treated this way. Only in Dallas!
Came here on New Year's Eve we got lucky our waiter was a sommelier. He picked all of our drinking options and recommended food as well. Great way to start our New Year off!
Love this place! Everything we ate was amazing! Sarah, our server was great and did a superb job. We ordered a lot of different things because it was all so good! Highly recommend.
