Every time I come here the employees are often rude and this last time I ordered a hot chocolate and the drink they gave me was pure water with a little syrup. So sad that the other merit locations have better quality and service.

Great coffee, usually have seating, and bottomless drip if you get a mug and stick around - hard to beat that in Dallas!

This is a good place to study and food is decent. However, I have been here multiple times and employees are always chit chatting with each other and taking a long time to make coffee because they're too busy talking to each other.

Formerly known as "Local Coffee". This was my go-to spot in San Antonio and then I stumbled upon it in Dallas. They have the best cold brew in my opinion. Add some cream + simple syrup and that's all you need.

Merit is hands down the best coffee shop in Dallas. We’ll, to be fair, I always get the same thing, so if you’re getting an almond milk latte (or decaf latte), they make the very best one. There isn’t much seating, but the coffee is so good that it’s a destination for me. Fortunately, there are some other cute stops within the same strip mall which is cute.

Merit use to by my favorite coffee spot. I will drive 25 mins into town to get my coffee every weekend. Now I will just go to Dutch bros closer to me. I was disappointed to find out they charge an extra $1 for using almond milk instead of regular. I would use regular but I am lactose and it is not good for me. So I have to suffer the extra charge because of my medical condition. Shame on the company! I will not spend $7 dollars for a 12 oz caramel latte with almond milk. That’s crazy! It only got saved by a two star instead of a one because the workers are nice, energetic and friendly.

I love Merit. I’ve been to this Highland location and Deep Ellum and they’re both great shops. Always seamless check out process. Great options on coffee (beans and to drink), merch, coffee tools and delicious food! The fact that they source and roast their own beans makes them so much better than a lot of coffee shops imo. They are easily one of my favorites. So, if you’re new in town or wanting to try local — go to Merit Coffee Co. P.s I usually spend over $50 because I get coffee beans, drinks and usually pastries. If you get 1-2 coffees you’re looking at anywhere from $5-10.

Good place for working ( 10 down and 10 up internet speeds). Chairs are okay. Parking in the front and back just fine. The matcha strawberry drink was quite tasty, the strawberries light and very freshly done as far as I can tell. Not artificial tasting. Props to the matcha for not being super chalky. Oat milk is $1 upcharge, same goes for other alternative milks. Total being $8 and change after tip. Their drip coffee is actually one of the better ones out there for sure, I normally do not go for drip, but it did a good job. I can't describe it much tho. Pop Tart was AMAZING. FLAKY warm and perfectly sweet. $4. Other than the poptart, I would not go back but its a decent place if its close to you to try. I believe the rest rooms are in the outside of the building so you may need to ask for access codes fyi.

Coffee 5 stars Croissant 3 stars But hey, it’s a coffee shop not a French bakery for crying out loud! The coffee was perfect. The croissant wasn’t very flaky and underbaked (is that a word). If you’re coming here for the bitter sweet nectar Waaqa provides mortal man you won’t be disappointed. Take the coffee, leave the croissant.
