Best coffee and service I have ever experienced.
I was so happy when they finally opened a location near my house since LDU is my favorite Dallas coffee shop, especially the Lovers and Fitzhugh locations. Both times at the Preston Royal location, my flat white (with whole milk) were super watery and tasted just like the latte I make at home with my cheap espresso machine. I hope they can do some quality control!
I had a great first experience at LDU. GREAT Australian style joint with a very cool vibe to it. Ben was great and helped me understand the menu, making suggestions along the way. They already have a regular in me!
Best coffee in Dallas, hands down. Smooth, no bitterness, and consistent every time. Flat whites are amazing.

Great service with friendly baristas. Good coffee as well. This shop isn’t a specialty shop (it doesn’t use light roasted coffee) but it’s Australian style is super tasty.
A great coffee shop in Preston Hollow, finally! Coffee is top notch and the service matches the quality of the coffee. I like the location a lot, very convenient and right next to Central Market. Limited food, but the food served is very good- almost all breakfast. The only downside is the seating. When I went there was only about 10-12 seats inside. I think there might be some tables outside. All in all, a very organized and well run coffee shop serving up good beverages!

If the coffee served here is considered great, there must be a whole lot of truly awful coffee in Dallas. My small flat white was more like coffee flavoured milk than a coffee with milk. Maybe my mistake was assuming the barista knew how to make a flat white. Or maybe l expect too much having lived in Australia for years. Service was friendly and prompt but atmosphere was pretty ordinary.
One sip of this coffee and I was transported to a different dimension... the dimension of great tasting coffee. 10/10... would try again.
Best looking and tasting coffee shop in Texas. The customer service, quality and atmosphere is what sets it apart from the rest. Also, the owners are so sweet and charming. Absolute gentlemen :)
