I didn't particularly care for their coffee. I had a brown sugar latte that did not taste anything like the name. The coffee shop is located in a church. I think that is fine as long as it still looks and operates like a coffee shop, but there are no options for seating inside. I'm not sure if this was the case due to an event the church was having, but this should not affect the coffee shop, especially on a Monday. Also, service were just mediocre. No smile, no warmth - shocking for something associated with a church. If I attended that church, I'd be grateful for having someplace to grab coffee right before service. Other than that, as a stand alone shop, this just falls short.
Fantastic craft coffee is served here.
Very good coffee
Great coffee!!! Great place!
Don’t miss out on this coffee just because the negative reviews about it being on a church property. The coffee shop is separate and you walk right into the coffee shop entrance not the church. They’re coffee was amazing! I got the lavender coffee on ice. I enjoyed it and will be back, thank you!
great service great everything
Hands and rose has awesome coffee and drinks. Whether you want iced or hot they'll serve it with a heart warming smile and with delicious flavor. It is located within upper room church. It is a spot you would not regret supporting and presents a community you want to be involved in. I highly recommend supporting Hands and Rose.
On the surface, you would think this is just another coffee shop ducked off on some backroad. But once you actually go in you find out that coffee is actually secondary to the church that it's attached to! The coffee is cool. Nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere is very energetic and positive (people were coming in and out of praise and worship) which makes the coffee drinking experience a lot more enjoyable. If anything, come by here in the morning while people are hanging out and dipping in and out of the church. It's definitely a vibrant atmosphere that anyone who likes visiting coffee shops will really enjoy!
Most delicious latte 💕💕 Fruity notes yuuummm
Yummy coffee
What the He** Is this place . A church selling coffee? People are nice but I do not want to be bothered with religious agendas. I will take my business elsewhere
the worst espresso I have had in recent memory. Thin, watery and weak.
I stumbled upon this coffee shop simply by searching for "coffee" in Google maps. I was in Dallas for work and had about 30 minutes to kill. This coffee shop is affiliated with the "UR Dallas" church that meets on site in the same facility. The signage out front is confusing; the only way I knew I was going to the right spot was because of other reviews and it saying suite 111 in the address. Overall, my experienc of the coffee shop was good, but I did feel some odd/strange vibes while being in there. The prices were great; same price no matter was size. $2 drip coffees and teas.
Let’s start with the good - coffee was fresh and delicious. Also, fairly priced. Service with a smile! However, weird culty vibes. Thankfully, no one asked me to pray. Unfortunately, the cup’s lid was cheap and kept leaking! They need a better sign as well. Very hard to find.
It was...alright. I got a vanilla latte. The house made vanilla syrup, and the drink it was in, was really good. The baristas didn't seem enthused or interested about people they didn't know personally. The person who DID seem interested...not sure if a student of the church associated or what...was a bit too interested. Definitely cut my visit short. The space was nice and I liked the instrumental music in the background. I'll probably hunt down a different coffee shop next time though.
Very good coffee, but they do not have McFlurries or Puppacinnos for dogs. Tried to order a McFrappe as well didn’t have that either. I guess I will go to McDonald’s for Mcflurries and come to Hands and Rose for good coffee.
Best coffee, Great Service, Good Vibes
HANDS+ ROSE Coffee , brings new meaning to coffee, it doesn't have to be quick & on the go but enjoy every moment you're there. I'm excited to see all that is in store for H+R , I love you guys, keep it up!
Do yourself a favor and try this place. The staff was very helpful and observant. The bill was appropriate for the quality.
This is a church. Yes, they serve coffee, but we’re put off by the fact that churches don’t pay taxes and neither do their coffee shops. It’s a shame, the coffee looked good, but we refuse to contribute to the tax-exempt scheme.
