The staff are very friendly and the coffee’s not bad at all. I didn’t give this a 5-star review because you have to enter a code on your receipt in order to get on the WI-FI and then it’s only good for 2hrs. Others commented on the small size of the coffee shop (there are other Fiction locations to visit that are bigger) and parking is limited (you can park in the street).

My neighborhood coffee shop. Love this place. There’s so many great options on their menu. Chai latte with a ham & Swiss. Or the hellfire cloud with a blueberry donut.

FOOD IG: @northtx.gemz 🍒WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: hipster little coffee shop located near XOXO Dining Room and Greenville Ave. 🍒WHAT I ORDERED: • Iced Juniper Latte w/ almond milk 🍒 PRICE: ~$6 🍒 THE VIBE: modern but hipster-like coffee shop. Pretty small interior I don’t think I would study here but I would definitely meet someone here for a nice chat. Cute outdoor seating. 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! •••• Overall Rating: 10/10 - I haven’t found a good solid coffee place in a really long time and I’m glad I discovered this gem! The coffee here is absolutely phenomenal and I believe they make their own house made syrups so it makes it 100% more authentic. - I absolutely love the taste of the coffee and the sweetness level is PERFECT. I genuinely get upset if coffee is too sweet but this is immaculate. Juniper is a berry I believe used in distilling gin so if you like gin (like I do) you’ll love this! It’s a very subtle taste. - Love this place so much I already came back for their seasonal drink and it was amazing too. Definitely gonna come back and will be a go-to. - The parking is a bit atrocious. Be careful if you have a low car or be prepared to parallel park. Located next door to Dahlia’s don’t park there! Lol.

Espresso was awful; sour and acidic. I suspect the beans were burnt in the roasting process. $3.50 was pricey for bad espresso. I expect more from an artisanal coffee place. The baristas are friendly and nice though.

Best espresso I’ve had since Europe. Why can’t other people make it like this!? ♥️ Also, my WiFi wasn’t working on my laptop. Make sure to get your receipt with WiFi code.

10/10. Will now be working from home at this beautiful place. I was on the hunt for a great coffee shop near me and discovered truly an excellent shop with amazing customer service and quality drinks.

Great flavor! Their Matcha latte was extraordinary (and that says a lot considering I'm not a fan of anise). This one was a perfect combination

Stopped in for an early morning coffee before hitting the road. The friendly service was highly appreciated at that early hour.

No loud noises which will help you a lot to concentrate on what you do. They do have a variety of food and drinks you can select from.

Parking is TIGHT but if you put your order in prior to arriving, you won't need to worry about it too much. Went there 2 days in a row and was in and out pretty quick. Had a matcha latte with coconut milk. Didn't try the breakfast tacos, but will on the next run.

First time going to Fiction, and I loved the drink. I got the 1980 and I loved the drink! The espresso was super smooth, and was not too acidic. I loved my pastries as well! The baristas were super friendly. The music was really great, and it was the perfect volume while I was doing homework. I am for sure adding them to my regular spot.

I like stopping here after taking my dog to Exall Park. The coffee is good and the staff are nice. I always try to try whatever seasonal or special flavors they are offering. I'm not sure I would recommend the space for work - but it's a great spot for getting in and out and it looks like you can also order ahead.
