Went there during the weekend and it wasn’t too busy. The coffee was ok, but pastry was underwhelming. The service was really what upset me a little - 1. An employee was running in and out of the kitchen (in a playful way) with food in her mouth and hands 2. Another employee was sitting on the swing with her stuff laying on the table so the swings were all to herself 3. A customer was chatting with the cashier for a while (>5 mins), and the other cashier was just looking and laughing. It was only me waiting behind the customer in front of me. Two cashiers were both chatting and giggling, ignoring me completely. The third cashier was looking at them for a while before she stepped in to help me. Fairly disappointed.

If you are in the area for breakfast, may I recommend their bacon, egg & cheese samie? They chop the bacon into bits then add a little spicy jelly. 😋 The coffee was also superb!☕️👍

The coffee was amazing, my friend and I had the draft latte and draft dirty chai latte, both homemade! The staff were so nice and helpful. They let us try all of their coffees on tap and were excited for us to try them. We also had the avocado toast and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich( best bacon I’ve had in a while). Definitely recommend!

I ordered a small assortment of food and drinks, and they were VERY hit or miss Avocado toast was solid but not for that price tag (go to lala land) Funnel cake fries were very good but again pricey Butterfly drink was awful. If you want one of these go to lala land Chai latte special was solid but not incredible Super underwhelming even if we paid half the price

Wow, lots of bad reviews. Unfortunate I have to add to it. Just moved here from Chicago I’ve been looking for good coffee and nice vibes. The atmosphere is great the coffee on the other hand…this was the worst coffee I’ve had in my life, it was basically burnt and left probably sitting for way too long. Gave me the worst stomach ache.

Absolutely love this place! The coffee is always amazing, can taste the love that goes into each cup unlike some places we all know. Staff if always friendly, really gives you that local vibe but with a taste of refined chef driven menu. Had the breakfast tacos which were absolutely bomb, definitely recommend. Whether you’re just wanting an amazing cup of coffee or a little nosh to go with it, this place is your stop!

Ever since moving to the neighborhood, I have had hope for several months this place could pull through, but time and time again I am highly disappointed. Between the poor attitudes of the staff, the ridiculous amount of time to wait for a single drink, the subpar food options, and lack of care to the shop, I have finally realized I’m no longer giving business to Fairgrounds. Such a bummer!

Do yourself a favor and get the Rise Nitro Cold Brew. Absolutely smooth deliciousness. The Bagels are perfectly toasted and don't even need schmear and my mom was a HUGE fan of the breakfast sandwich. The Son of a Peacher smoothie was consumed at an expeditious rate by my husband. Derek was so courteous and professional and Sarah was so sweet and has the best smile. The vibe in here is top notch. 10/10, highly recommend.
