The brunch dish with avocados, bacon, egg and queso was other worldly. Good coffee. Everyone was pleasant. Highly recommended. The pastries looked great but too full to get to them. Go there.
Great food and the black forest cheesecake was the bomb! Nice patio too. They allow dogs.

Hester’s had a great menu! I had the dish with Brussel sprouts, kale, sausage, and sweet potato hash, with an egg on top. So good! And the frozen coffee topped it off so good! My bf had the crab cake sandwich. It tasted great! I love when local restaurants use fresh seafood. This tasted fresh.

Can't speak to the food, but service when ordering was insulting. Guy taking orders at register kept looking around me because I was taking a minute to order. I tried to ask him a question, and he said he needed to worry about the line behind us. So we politely moved over to go over the menu, and the people behind us were not ready to order either. He was just a complete jerk. So I hear food is good but be sure to know exactly what you want before entering. So rude, we left and most likely will not return. Hester might want to train some of their staff better or atheist one of them.
Amazing and impressive, thats what I’d call this restaurant. I became a regular to this place and every single time I leave I feel better. It’s hard not to with such an upbeat and busy place.
My sister brings me to Hester's, downtown first and in Lamar since. The coffee is super and the food is superb. The staff, parking and rate at which you are served are superb as well! I have to say I had not heard of it before. I have to say one of the best for sure in the city! I would recommend for all!
Their scrambled eggs were so fluffy and mouth melting! You gotta try scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and goat cheese. To die for!! 🤤🤤🤤
This is my favorite breakfast and lunch place in Corpus Christi. Saturday Brunch is awesome. Great coffee and the food is amazing. They are open til 4pm, but closed on Sundays.
Food was super fresh and tasty, staff is very friendly, but it's really loud in there so if you're looking to relax, I'd get it to go.
Try the Mocha frappe, and Hester's french toast. Amazing.
I got the Cheesy B.E.A.T. and I thought it was super good. My friends also got it and liked it. I also got an iced chai and it had a good chai flavor. My friend got the the caramel cold brew but the caramel was a bit gritty. It was still good. Very cute place, and good service.
We were visiting here from San Antonio and tried breakfast at Hester’s. It was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean which I appreciate and the atmosphere was cozy. Food came out fast even though it was busy! We will definitely come back here next time we are in town.
Great brunch and lunch menu. Chicken salad is a favorite. Desserts are always delicious.
Very quaint and Inviting atmosphere, the food is very delicious and the staff is too friendly. If you're looking for a place off the beaten path and want to support local businesses this spot is worth is a stop.
I had placed an order for pickup. Made a quick adjustment to one of the items, was told that they would edit & everything will be g2g. I go to pick it up, head out after waiting for awhile, stopped midway to my destination to make sure it was fixed. Low & behold....it was not I was given something else instead. I called to complain about this... received no apology, arrived to pickup the correct order only to see the girl I spoke to talking about the call I placed to another coworker when it was none of his business. I had to ask her, for the inconvenience and gas wasted can I get a cup of something to drink at least, she kept telling me there's kid cups for water...I kept telling her there's not. She finally huffed and puffed, checked, then handed me a cup. I got the strawberry tea (I suppose) it has no flavor at all, looked more like sugar water (w/no sugar) might I add. I was just over the whole situation. In the end an order that shouldn't have took no more than 15-20 minutes period, ended up taking an hour. Not pleased would be an understatement... especially for paying $51 for sandwiches & soup. Come on now Hester's you can do better than THAT! SMH.
Simply a beautiful place to enjoy some great food and company. Plenty of seating inside and out. Delicious menu and super clean. Breakfast menu served all day ..The staff is attentive and friendly very nice location to bring company or the family… must try..
Dropped in for breakfast during a visit to CC. Very good menu selections and coffee options. Inside and outside seating options. Beware of birds outside, they hungrily await you leftovers and table droppings. Can fill up quick at peak times. Order at the counter and eat there or get takeaway. Delicious plates and brews! Staff is very friendly and table delivery and cleanup is attentive. Stop by today and try it out.
I love everything about this place! Kind people, great food, and always consistent! It was my first time back in four years since I live out of state and nothing has change (in the best possible way) :) food is always great and will keep coming back every time I’m in town!
