When I first came in i thought that the restaurant was only in business for the Instagramable atmosphere, but i was quickly proven wrong after I took my first bite. Order smoked salmon Benedict and it was freaking amazing. All of their lemonades are great as well, especially the unicorn 🦄 lemonade that was pink with pink edible glitter. I would def go back next time I visit Corpus Christi.
The only things I didn't like was the outward appearance and the funky smell walking through the door. The food was delicious and so was the coffee.
Outside doesn’t look it will be a great experience, but inside has a nice French atmosphere and the food excellent.

Ugh, I WISH I could give this place more than 5 stars. I just moved back to Corpus from Houston, so I was extremely spoiled with several bakeries and tea salons in the area. When I moved back down, I immediately looked for a new place to get my fix, and was beyond excited to see Bien Merite had opened up in my absence. This charming little hole in a wall has quickly become my happy place. The vibes of the entire restaurant are so warm and inviting. The staff is just so incredibly friendly, they always take their time with each customer, answering questions, giving them their full attention, you can tell this business was crafted with love in every single corner. The all pink building, the white marble tables with gold accents, everything’s so beautiful, you can tell the owners put SO much thought and care into their business. And the food, the pastries, the drinks… everything seems so carefully prepared. The only con is the fact that service does take some time, but I absolutely don’t mind. It’s the price we pay for this level of love, thought, and care. This is not a place for a quick bite, it’s a cozy little experience. I’ll keep coming back every opportunity I get. Thank you, Bien Merite, for being my hideaway from life’s stresses.

Best Mother’s Day ever super cute and fun who doesn’t love pink!! we had the lemon bars, a quiche, an eclair, creampuff, raspberry/pistachio croissant and to be honest I can’t remember what else everything was perfect so delicious and cute!
We had a high tea event and food was fabulous!! Great small sandwiches and desserts was one of a kind!!!
Food and staff were amazing. Just had a weird smell in the lobby and very expensive. But definitely a neat experience

This place was so good that I'm writing about it late at night, 5 days after I ate it. I picked up a box of assorted pasties and macaroons to go. DANG. Every single thing we ate was the bomb.
My first time here was about a week ago, and I was pleased. I tried the chocolate almond croissant, omg it was DELICIOUS! There was so much yumminess all in one place that I couldn't decided so I grabbed a little bit of everything. I will definitely be going back soon for some lunch that is next to try!
This place was so adorable and the pastries were absolutely Devine I love the whole aesthetic and the fact that it's women owned #womenboss and local, definitely a 10 out of 10 and definitely will make this a new favorite spot.
I want to love this place, but the service needs to be better. The food is amazing! It’s probably my fault for not checking my to go orders before I leave, but they are never correct…I’m always missing items…and the payment process that is set up for automatic tipping is interesting… I think I’m just going to stop being a customer…
Cute little place. Pastries were yummy and coffee was delicious! I came here with my mom and daughter and enjoyed our visit.
The staff is so friendly, the environment is a 10/10 and any pastry you get will never disappoint, I can’t believe it took me so long to find this lovely place, if you have never been here you are most definitely missing out
I love their macarons! Favorite ones are the honey almond! And this salted caramel brownie is delicious.
A really fun place to take your wife on a Friday morning date day because you both skipped work that day. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Had the avocado toast.... amazing. Wife had the breakfast croissant. Delicious. Highly recommend. It's tucked away and hard to see from the street, but it's worth going there.
My favorite place! Their matcha has become my addiction 😅 Also, the employees are so sweet!
First time here and loved it! Friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the Capreae Toast and it was so delicious!!! Will be coming back to taste other menu items :)
