Great food and service.
I had the Bulldog burger. It's a double handmade patty with double bacon, cheese and jalapenos. It was absolutely delicious! The jalapeno was grilled and very flavorful. My friend had the sausage and chicken gumbo with potato salad. I tell you, that gumbo was GOOD!! The potato salad was spot on with flavor. And together, if you like your tater salad with your gumbo, it was one of the best.
The food is always hot and delicious, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the wait staff is the best.
The waitress was one of the best I have encountered !! Extremely personable and friendly. The food was delicious and was the perfect portion size, that did not leave one feeling over stuffed. The cost of dinner was moderately high; based on the economic median cost of living for the area. The price was well within the national price trend across the country. Extremely well decorated establishment and offered a nice comfortable eating environment that complimented wait staff approachable service style!
Great customer service
Came here as a recommendation from our parents and I have to say… Wow, definitely the best burger in the area. The fries were really good as well and make sure you get their onion rings if that’s your thing. My wife tried the chicken fried steak burger and absolutely loved it. Everything we had was great! Definitely recommend checking this place out.
I eat here with my parents every time I come for a visit. They've gone here as a routine for a few years now. I'm thankful they have a place to call "home". The service is great!! The food is great!! The people are amazing!
Good food and decent prices. Best place to eat in Colmesneil, but the bar to make that claim isn't that high.
We dined here after our peewee and junior football teams played Colmesneil. The staff were great and the food was wonderful!! The restaurant was clean and felt like home. If we are very out that way again we will ve sure to stop by!

It is such a pleasant and fulfilling dinner every time we have stopped in to eat. We have experienced a delicious dish every time, for each person! On top of the quality and quantity of the food the service is to the utmost care and even fellowship… Great People, Great Place, Great Food!! The atmosphere here is remarkably inviting!!
Stopped here for lunch on our way camping. Seems like many of the local, older crowd enjoy it here. Food was good. Atmosphere was great with hospitable service. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and it took a Very long time to get our food. They were very apologetic about it. Portions were just adequate. Prices were very fair.
Good service and good food in a rustic atmosphere. Prices were reasonable.
Sunday May first the website said open from 7-2. We arrived at 11:15, the door was locked. Call before you go to be sure if their hours of operation. Disappointed because we were really hungry 😟
Jordan cooked me THE best chicken fried steak, that I’ve ever eaten in my life. Perfectly seasoned, fork tender, crispy and hot. It was SO good! Thank you.
Great food,perfect customer service, nice decor,good prices. We loved it!
Went here years before and the food was good with decent portions and decent prices. Fast forward to the other day when I went. The portions are smaller and the prices are higher. Nearly $9 for a BLT (without fries on the side or a drink) is a rip off. For that price they should slap in 2 extra slices of bacon and add fries and a drink. I would suggest that no one else visits until they make adjustments.
