The shade grocery has been n existence since before I was born. As a small child I can remember saw dust floors and a pop top parking lot with old lift handle gas pumps. Mr. Herring always had the smell of freshly cooked bacon on my early morning visits with my mom. Just like people everything changes. The store has been remodeled and it has changed owners but the quality of food and service has never changed.... It has the best and freshest food around .. the service and atmosphere makes you feel at home. I give shade grocery five stars! Check it out!
Best food around Cleveland Texas hands down and it does not look like any of these pictures on this website these pictures on here are disgusting it's been completely remodeled and looks nothing like this inside

First time eating here very nice, quant, busy for lunch but worth the wait. The atmosphere very friendly, knowledgeable, If am out this way again ,rest assured I will stop again for lunch.
Friendly staff and olde time comfort food cooked to order. Feed Store/Rural Hardware... minnows, worms and cold soda.
