I frequent the summit location & haven’t visited the Canyon location in a few years. Really impressed with the staff , super friendly people. Very warm welcoming environment to pair with great coffee !
Personally not a fan of the pastries. I get coffee almost every day from this location its always consistent and spot on.
Best coffee place in town. Sets high standards, which makes all other coffee places not as good. 🤣
We were visiting from Ft Worth area to hike in the Palo Duro Canyon. With luck we found Palace Coffee on the Square. Great staff, friendly and engaging, who served us excellent coffee drinks. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere that had that local feel unlike those corporate big chains. Stop here for a good cup when in Canyon.
Amazing list of unique coffees
Great coffee in a beautiful historic building. Very friendly service as well!
What an awesome coffee shop!!! And I'm not really a coffee drinker!!! Mallory is about the most friendly person you could ever meet and took such good care of us!. Thank you and we will be back when we get back to Canyon!!!!
My partner and I stopped here during our trip to Palo Duro Canyon. I own a coffee shop in Austin and I just want to say WOW. From customer service, to quality of beverages, Palace knocked it out of the park. I especially want to highlight Mallory! She took her time helping us find the right drinks and making some recommendations to check out in the area. From over hearing other’s conversations I can tell she has such a great rapport with her regulars and even guests that have visited one or two times. She is truly a gem and exudes such a positive energy in the space it’s contagious. Keep it up Mallory and if you ever move back to Austin I’d love to offer you a job! ;)
What a cute little coffee shop!
What a great find - a cool vibe, great staff - great location - and plenty of places to sit and read, write, create, study, or do some work on a laptop.
The best drinks!! I will say that the volume and types of music played do not set the environment for studying or meeting. I was just here, and the volume is roughly a nine. When the music was turned up, everyone in the back room physically glanced at each other. This used to be a study location. My friend who is an employee urged us to understand it was not the employees' faults, but the management, as they requested the music stay at a high volume. She assured us she has constantly heard complaints on this matter. I know many of us students here at WT would appreciate less loud rap/pop or at least a quieter volume, as it is almost impossible to focus.
An incredible coffee shop with original specialty drinks as well as the standard ones, housed in a beautiful old building with a wonderful atmosphere. I got the Lavender Latte with Almond Milk and it was crazy delicious with just the right amount of Lavender (good aromatic presence but not overwhelming flavor.)
The one to one is awesome!
Pumpkin Maple coffee was good not fantastic. For me there wasn't enough coffee flavor and it was served at room temperature. Deal breaker The cashier was courteous but aloof. Store was clean
Unique coffe shop, great coffee selections, excellent baristas
Great coffee, roasted perfectly
Beautiful little coffee shop in the heart of canyon Texas. The service and staff were excellent. So is the coffee :-)
I come every time I'm in town. Always get my drink right and are always friendly.
Love the coffee here! We tried some pastries this time and they weren’t “generic” tasting like from a box, but were quality and would definitely get again. Love the atmosphere here too with all of the seating.
Came to visit friends and stopped by to get some coffee. Best pour over I’ve had in years! I usually don’t go on goggle to post reviews but this time…it was a must. Our barista Elena was so down to Earth and gave us so much knowledge about our Aponte coffee. Palace in Canyon feels like home away from our 15 min away home (Amarillo)
