My latte milk was very bad, not foamy and it was cold. Service was very rushed and not kind, they where in a rush so I kind of understand but customers should still receive a smile

Had the brunch chicken fried steak which had a twang to it and it was tuff, staff continually asking if it was good told them no and they said, oh, I'm sorry hope you come back, but the salad was good. They also have too many rules on what you can order and when you can order it. Wow, $60 for two with mediocre food. Will not go back.

Great food! The sausage and biscuits were the best I have had. The latte was perfectly made. Relaxed atmosphere makes you want to linger over your food and coffee.

Bufalo Gap Cafe is overrated. My wife and I drove from Abilene to Buffalo Gap since friends recommended this place. We had to wait for twenty-five minutes for a table. That made our expectations grow a bit more since we thought that high demand meant excellent food." I was wrong. I ordered "Chilaquiles Verdes". It took an hour to get our food! The chilaquiles are plain chips with a tasteless green salsa and chicken; I ate half of it because I was hungry and not because I enjoyed them. The coffee is excellent, and the servers are pretty nice.

So frustrating. Got there for my 5 year old’s birthday breakfast, had to wait 15 minutes when there were several open tables, just so they could tell us after 15 minutes that they were no longer serving breakfast….the reason we drove 25 minutes. This has happened to my mom a totally separate time as well. Won’t be back. You might call ahead to double check whether they have food!

We rarely come here anymore. It was barely busy for a Sunday, yet we waited for an insane amount of time. They stop serving breakfast early. The patty melt came out like a meatball on cheap bread, slapped on a big plate. Croissant was most and soggy.

Recently I visited for Abilenes Pride and to support my dearest friend James Wagstaff. We ate here for brunch and MAN! It was amazing! I love the fruit salad we had and the steak sandwich. Cassara took very good care of us and was such a delight to have with her amazing personality! Can’t wait to come back and visit!

I was visiting friends in Abilene just north of here. I had already had chicken fried steak in Abilene that was delicious and wanted some more, so we drove to this place on a Monday I think. Very quaint, picturesque place inside and out. Very small place. Excellent food, excellent prices, and coffee was great. I actually bought the mug in the photo. This place is part of Perini Ranch, and the meat is literally from right down the road. They also run an upscale steakhouse nearby. Worth a trip if you're ever in Abilene. There is also an historic town here (closed on Sunday and Monday) that I am sure is worth visiting. Plus you'll drive by a gas station/grocery store that looks to be straight out of an early 20th century movie.

What a great little spot I Buffalo Gap! The staff were very friendly and the food was awesome. I ordered the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and they had just sold out. So instead of asking me to order something else, the kitchen staff whipped up a fresh batch of biscuits just for me! The gravy was homemade and the meal was delicious. I highly recommend paying them a visit.

I would give it 5 stars...but I had to wait 40 min for a biscuit....it was good ans worth the wait....but still....40 min was a long time. They could of asked me if I wanted to change my order or something....eitherway, stop by and try their food....its good!

My wife and I showed up at 9 am on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were immediately seated and there was no crowd. We placed our order at about 9:10 and waited over an hour without someone checking in with us about the status of our order. Our server came by once and refilled a coffee but said nothing about the status of our food. Another waitress came by and saw we had been waiting a long time and checked and said that our order was never received by the kitchen. Easily could have been avoided by our server communicating with us and checking in periodically. Instead no one checked in with us for over an hour. Saturday morning wasted.

Great bakery and lunch choices! On a repeat visit, food was great but they forgot to bring us our food, so it was cold.
