My mom and I drove in all the way from Austin to have lunch at Dienger. I brought my dog to enjoy the day with us so we planned to eat outside. However we were abruptly told they were not taking outdoor orders (there’s only about 5 tables outside that only one other person was sitting at) nor could we order anything to go. The hostess was so snippy and gave us so much attitude telling us “it’s a NO.” So ridiculous and unaccommodating. We will not be coming back. Instead we walked down to the Gourmet Market a block down and enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio. They actually had better reviews and the waitstaff was so nice!

Customer service was spot on, the food was delicious. We did brunch, got there about 10:30 and it was already busy. But the wait was only about 10 mins. Would definitely recommend

Very rude town city employee tried to run us over. Restaurant doesn't cater to its customers over priced

I loved the atmosphere and location but was not impressed with my meal. I got the fried pork tenderloin Benedict. The biscuits and hollandaise were great but my eggs were well passed over easy. The pork tenderloin was so overdone that it was really tough to eat and didn’t end up being able to finish it. The hollandaise had great flavor but needed much more of it given there was no runny yolk and the protein being dry. I told the waitress but she didn’t seem to care. My sister got the avocado, toast, and a pancake. Both of those were delicious. The coffee is good. I got one pump of vanilla and one pump of the lavender and the lavender is very potent. Definitely should’ve gone with maybe a half a pump. I had high hopes for this place, and so much other items on the menu looked good but I am hesitant to go back.

Update 4/1/23: I'm glad we came to give them another try. Mason was our server and they were spectacular! The food was delicious, it came out quickly, the mimosa was very nice. You ordered several pies to go. So glad we were able to experience. Such a nice breakfast here. Old: We waited 50 minutes for our food after waiting 45 minutes for the table. Our waitress was atrocious and barely checked on us.The owner or manager stopped by and was lovely, offering us a croissant while we wait and brought the kids ice cream after our meal gratis. The waitress asked us for a tip when she checked us out, which we felt tacky. First time here, so maybe it was a bad day and bad waitress.I will try them again and update this review.

Enjoyed a late lunch at the Dienger. The salad and service were nice and there was a nice boutique next door. Perhaps most notably the location was in a historic building and was decor was lovely.

This is one of the more enjoyable places on Main Street in Boerne, but they consistently close earlier than their posted times. Very frustrating.

Coffee is a must here. I believe they carry Merit coffee. Overall cute place with yummy food but getting racially profiled consistently in the little shop is a bummer to an otherwise good experience.
