Food was great..had the enchilada casserole.
This place is steeped in history, and I think so are the pots they cook in , I say this because I am sure my southern grandmother would approve. Last visit, I had a thin fried pork chop , green beans , blackeye peas, and a yeast roll that only was not perfect because it was cold. If you have to go to the restroom and step into the hall of the hotel , you have stepped back in time , and there are pictures of long ago. It's so interesting. So if you are driving thru Blessing , slow down and have lunch , but stop between 11 and 2, or you are out of luck, and I would say the closer to 11, the better. For 14.00, you get salad , lunch , drink, and dessert. It is a deal. 5 you better have cash , no credit / debit cards here!!
Amazing food. Visit every time I'm in the area.

Amazing food!
Relaxing dining food was really excellent
Great place so much old world charm
Down home atmosphere and treatment by employees and regulars alike.
Homestyle we went right at lunch, so there were many dishes almost gone.
A little off the beaten path but a blast from the past. Great food and atmosphere, service was late and needed a little help. Still suggest trying an old establishment and soak in the heritage.
Words cannot describe how wonderful a home cooked meal can make your day. We stopped by on a cold Sunday and enjoyed the best meal in a very long time. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, stuffing, pickled beets, cranberries. This will be worth a special trip next time.
Old school in the best way. Completely unpretentious. Completely delicious. Worth the drive.
Absolutely delicious. Meatloaf, roast, lima beans, corn, green beans, rice, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, salads and desserts.
Going to the Blessing Hotel is well worth the trip. We went on Friday and ate the fish. Delicious! Awesome atmosphere!
Good home cooking. Everything is always fresh and home cooked, like grandma made it.
Just like Sunday dinner at Grandma's house!
