coffee is SO GOOD. I went 2 days in a row on our trip and got the honey lavender latte for myself and a honey lavender cold brew for my bf . def check them out!
My favorite coffee in Austin. Something about their espresso/latte just tastes better than anything else around here. The crew is also super friendly and welcoming.
Best Latte in Austin! Smooth and frothy. Love this little coffee airstream.
Definitely my favorite coffee spot in Austin to visit with my Pupps
Delicious lavender matcha and such friendly staff!
I make sure to come by this place every time I’m in the area. Consistently really solid espresso, smooth drip, high quality experience every time!
Love this place best coffee in South Austin
Best honey Lavendar latte I've had!
Praxis is a great coffee truck in the Menchaca area. The people that run it are incredible and always great to chat with. Cappuccinos are a good indicator of the skill of the baristas instead of the brand of coffee and Praxis consistently puts out great caps! They're located at the Lustre Pearl South and the vibe of the backyard seating area is incredible, hot or cold. Best coffee shop in the Slaughter Creek area!
Very friendly and quick. My dog and I walked here a few weeks ago on our morning walk.
The barista Cam is the best! Truly one of the best dirty chais I’ve had in Austin 🥰
Love their beans. Love their coffee. One of the few places in town that makes a really great pour over. Their staff is super helpful, kind, and overall great. If they have it, get the Gakenke Yeast Intenso - Burundi. BEST COFFEE ROASTERS IN TOWN.
Best spot in Austin for sure. It’s our go to place!
Absolutely FANTASTIC coffee!
A delicious coffee spot. I ordered a cortado and was not disappointed. As for the name—Praxis—I must confess my cortado gave me no new insight into Marxist philosophy. I expected to better understand the nature of revolutionary proletariat activity, and the way in which that revolutionary work transforms the consciousness of the working class, however, the caffeine did allow me to read Rosa Luxemburg lucidly.
Update: After seeing the response from Praxis, I changed my review to one star. Here’s why: First, the only reason I know about Praxis is because the truck is parked at Lustre Pearl (great place, btw). The last two times I was there, I noticed an interesting coffee trailer with a sign that said they were open from 8a–3p. Today I was craving a cappuccino and excitedly thought of Praxis, which is much closer to my house than any other legit coffee shop in Austin. Arrived at 1:33 to find a closed-up trailer 😔 The reason I even knew about you is because of your sign at Lustre Pearl. I got on Google to leave a review and saw your hours after the fact. Your website says you are open until 3pm as well. You have a legit coffee shop that we started to love, but this response is just rude. It’s not my job to check every source online to see when you close. Will be going back to Radio now. They are never rude to us there. Original review: a great coffee place - they know what they are doing with their beverages. Giving this 4 star only because their sign still says that it’s open until 3pm. We just drove there to get our afternoon treat and had to turn around disappointed:( they close at 1pm now during the week and their sign and website still says 3pm. Please keep your hours updated🙏 See you soon
Stand out coffee in Austin, on par with my favorites from Portland (Coava, Courier) - makes me feel at home
Amazing! Bought some beans to use at home & the coffee is so tasty. We’ll be back for more!
Got the iced matcha and it was mmmm good!
I've had lattes, espressos and chais at this cafe, and everything that I've tried so far has been consistently wonderful. To top that the baristas are super friendly and welcoming. I regularly buy their Dona Sofia (Guatemalan) beans, which I use for making lattes at home everyday. These beans are absolutely delicious and perfect for milk based drinks. I've tried beans (for lattes) from cuvee and third coast in Austin, but Praxis has stood out. Praxis doesn't have the variety of those other roasters but I've found their quality to be better. Praxis also sells light roasted Ethiopian beans which I haven't tried yet.
