lovely coffeeshop, my family’s favorite. very cozy, great seating, fantastic coffee. the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming (s/o to caesar for always taking such great care of us). home away from home!
Caesar just made me a cappuccino from the heavens. Highly recommend. Go to Caesar for your coffee needs ✨
Sip back, relax. You’re your own carpenter when you’re here! Create something amazing in this throwback atmosphere. Great coffee!
Cool retro vibe in a hotel coffee bar! Sip some Java, spin some vinyl, chill in an MCM environment.
Great happy hour
I was excited finding this place. yeah I definitely felt the unwelcomed vibe but I thought I'll take it for a good espresso which is so so hard to find in Austin. first trip - wow this is great 2nd - ok maybe an off day 3rd - It was meh and I felt probably shouldn't be here. No talking at all from staff. 4th - nice interaction but they forgot milk in the drink. I got strait espresso that tastes like cardboard and raspberries. I poured it out I was hoping the bad stuff was just an off day but I'm beginning to realize the good drink day was the exception. I'll give this place one more try bc I love to suffer lol but I'm guessing we've come to the end of our relationship.
I absolutely love the atmosphere here, it’s like my second home, and I LOVE the ladybird latte but occasionally they don’t have the orange peel- which is fine, but the problem is they don’t mention it until after the drinks already made. It totally defeats the point for me, the orange rosemary combo is literally what makes the drink so good! Wish they would say something before hand. The girls that work there are so gossipy, I couldn’t bring myself to ask for a refund because I could see them making faces just for mentioning I wish they had told me before I paid. Made me feel embarrassed for making orange zest a big deal.. but that’s the entire reason I like the drink. :/
My favorite drink is the Ladybird which is an orange latte, very refreshing and was garnished with fresh zest. I've also tried their macchiato which they serve the traditional Italian way and were able to accommodate for my lactose intolerance by subbing the scoop of milk foam for oat milk. My friend tried the arnold palmer, refreshing and a little bit on the less sweet side of that scale. The cinnamon twists were delightful and the apple scone was very moist. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed as many of the hotel guest come through the cafe all morning.
Beautiful wood paneling, very comfortable furniture, and chill vibe.
This place has rocket fuel and amazing ambiance.
A bad coffee shop in Austin, thankfully the exception to the rule. Untrained staff are poring mediocre coffee into take away cups, doing side talk while treating customers like numbers, wasting good and expensive coffee machines. Overpriced menu and very slow service, Carpenter is just the nice deco with none of the quality.
i actually was gonna go here to edit some photos but I locked my keys in my car. Luckily this was a nice place to sit and wait to get my car unlocked. 10/10 for sure
Rude Cashiers:/ won't be be back... acted like they were irritated I was there. Good Coffee, Good Decor and concept.
I think we came here almost everyday while we were in Austin it’s THAT GOOD. Staff is amazing and so friendly and the coffee?? Just so damn good. They also have pastries and breakfast tacos. Good little patio on the side, steps and tables to sit at out front and there’s an adorable interior space if you wanna sit inside or work too. Love it
Relaxing environment and very cute space. It was a great opportunity to get out of the house and work from a new location today. The coffee is also delicious.
Good ambience Coffee
Way better than Starbucks I like money here
Great little spot with delicious coffee. The patio out front is a nice place to relax.
Employee wasn't very welcoming and contrary to closing time being listed as 9 at a "coffee bar" they were not serving coffee.
Excellent coffee, great vibe, their tacos are amazing.
