Excellent pastries and cakes
I own my own home bakery business and when I need a go-to it's always McKays. I LOVE their carrot cake. It's bar none!!!

I have heard many good things about McKay’s and to put it simply it was definitely underwhelming. All the pastries my husband and I tried were stale, but I will say the eclairs were amazing. The customer service was the worst part though, there was an older woman working the front who had an attitude and made us feel rushed when there was no one else waiting. Pie was also good but the cookies and lemon bars I would not recommend. Don’t recommend getting lunch there either, sandwiches were ok not great. Hopefully the cakes are good but I will not be going back to try

My mom discovered this bakery when she moved to Abilene back in 2020. She always raves about it. So whenever I come up to visit her, this is an imperative stop before I leave! Their cookies are some of the best I’ve ever had! So soft, tasty and fresh! Their lunches are good too and at a great price. They always have such a wide and available selection too. Thank you McKays!!!
I went in Saturday morning and could not make a decision but a lady working there I think her name was Andrea was so helpful in making my decision and it was perfect

i went in today and i got help from a lady in the front i think it was kate. she helped me tremendously and had such great costumer service! she was also a little comedian🤣. the food was amazing. loved the service. will definitely be coming back!!
Was my first time to McKays the cookies were great, but the costumer service was even better. The women named Kate at the counter was very patient with me and helpful!!
Me and my family LOVE! this place. Staff are always so nice to us, expesually Kate. She is great at her job and makes our experience 10 times better! Shes also a bit of a goofball 😝🤪😝
